I didn't include it in the price because I modified it to work in the case bu cutting out a section. I am also including an HP CDRW drive that matches the case but no real value to it. OK this PC has never lagged or stuttered playing anything up to and including UT3, Oblivion, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Crysis on high settings with a screen resolution of 1680x1050. The only thing I have ever noticed was a little bit of a long load time when changing levels in Crysis but no issues during game play (could just be game cuz never played on another system). The x1900xtx cards are rated on par or higher with than all but the highest end new cards. And I can include a Soundblaster Audigy 2 Gamer sound card, but onboard sound is just as good or better. PC runs fairly quiet and cool (30 idle - 36 load) - loudest fan is the PCI fan running around 27db. Case is in great condition and has very few scratches. [VI] Spatuladogg has first dibs but after that it's first one with the cash. Edited February 10, 2008 by Preacher
VooDooPC January 28, 2008 Share VooDooPC Member January 28, 2008 (edited) Are those the prices when the products were new (what you paid for them), or are they todays prices? $200 for a 4400+ is mind blowingly expensive. The 6400+ is around $160. Edited January 28, 2008 by VooDooPC
Preacher January 28, 2008 Author Share Preacher Member January 28, 2008 Those are todays prices and that 6400 is an AM2. The 4400 is a 939 chipset. Some of the parts are difficult to even find. I originally paid $2300 to build this PC as it sits not including OS. I'm not out to screw anyone, if you aren't interested no need to post about how it's too expensive lol. Preacher February 11, 2008 Author Share Preacher Member February 11, 2008 Power supply will be an ultra X2 Connect 550 watt SLI certified modular PS. I was going to remove it but I was mistaken about the quality of one I have in a box so it comes with the good one
