SLi or NO

I have a 8800gts 320mb card now, and I can get another one for $100, or I could go to the 8800gts 640mb card for $140.

 

I was hoping to get an idea what would give me better little bang here. I know I should look at just going to the 4850's and I may but I was thinking I could get a little more out of what I have now..??

Is it for AoC? Supposedly you need 4gb+ ram to even start to see an improvement in SLI with AoC, most recommend 8gb

I actually suggest scrapping the 8800gts and switching over to one of the new ATI 4850

I agree too.

 

Go with the 4850...saw one today for $139 after rebate.

 

That is about 30% (depends on game) faster than 8800GTS.
