dwEEziL April 25, 2003 Share dwEEziL Member April 25, 2003 Mags, I have been to plenty LANs where one dork or another have fubar'ed their system right at the beginning. If we have install disks for everything, we could do a wipe/install and have him up and running and ready to frag in a couple hours or so.

Guest TeKNiK April 26, 2003 Share Guest TeKNiK Guests April 26, 2003 (edited) I don't think I can fit my computer chair in my car. Their are going to be chairs provided I assume right? Also what would a patch cable be? I know I am fairly knowledgable in computers but I have never heard of this. dwEEziL April 26, 2003 Share dwEEziL Member April 26, 2003 A patch cable is simply a short ethernet cable. Anything under 10ft could be considered a patch cable probably.
Guest TeKNiK April 26, 2003 Share Guest TeKNiK Guests April 26, 2003 Thx. I got a short 6 foot one but the one going into my computer is fairly long I think? Hopefully in doubt, people will bring extras =\ .
Fatty April 26, 2003 Author Share Fatty GC Founder April 26, 2003 Chairs will be provided. If we're at a place where we have to rent tables/chairs, it would be a good idea to bring some sort of pad for your butt. Also, grab yourself a 20 foot patch, we don't want too many people depending on others for cables.
