Fatty April 20, 2005 Author Share Fatty GC Founder April 20, 2005 The oldes still runs well! It has a special feature called "Continual Oil Renewal Technology" which I invented myself. Of course, this is at the cost of my friends at LubeStop who are great with their Top-off policies.

Fatty April 28, 2005 Author Share Fatty GC Founder April 28, 2005 Don't need one yet! Although today I went to get in my car at work and the handle came half off. Wife calls the autobody (knows them well from insurance biz) and they order me one. I'm calling tomorrow to have them cancel that and just use the passenger one and switch it over. Nobody rides shotgun with me, and the 10 times / year someone does, I'll open their door. Other than that, the car still goes!

Sgt. Spuds September 15, 2005 Share Sgt. Spuds Member September 15, 2005 (edited) Personaly, Id go with a camaro. You can get em dirt cheap, and they are stunning automobiles. You can even do some light work on them ( heads, cam, 30 over ) and get em to scream even harder. My dad owned a 1999 SS http://www.anthonychamber.com/ChamberMembe..._SS_-_black.jpg and that thing ripped, fastest car ive ever been in, m6 tranny btw, like you like. Now, for my all time fav car. I personaly dont like the front end on the 98+ camaros as much as I like the fronts on the 93-97's. And seeing as you want some big balls, your gonna want a ss if anything. So http://i6.ebayimg.com/02/i/04/d2/8b/18_3.JPG thats my pic... Nothing but a Chevy for the fat man. General Information 1997 30th Anniversory SS z28 camaro - Lt1 based Price: $--,--- Miles Per Gallon: --/-- mpg Curb Weight: ~3500 lbs Layout: Front-Engine/RWD Transmission: 6-Speed Manual Engine Type: V8 Displacement: 5670 cc Horsepower: 305 bhp @ 5200 rpm Torque: 335 lb-ft @ 2400 rpm Redline: 6000 rpm Performance 0-60 mph: 5.5 sec 0-100 mph: 13.4 sec Quarter Mile: 14.0 sec @ 103 mph Skidpad: .87g Top Speed: 155 mph Braking, 60-0 mph: 129 ft Slalom Speed: 64.0 mph General Information 1999 Camaro SS -ls1 based Price: $25,105 Miles Per Gallon: 18/27 mpg Curb Weight: 3360 lbs Layout: Front-Engine/RWD Transmission: 6-Speed Manual Engine Type: V8 Displacement: 5670 cc Horsepower: 320 bhp @ 5200 rpm Torque: 345 lb-ft @ 4400 rpm Redline: 6000 rpm Performance 0-60 mph: 5.5 sec 0-100 mph: 13.2 sec Quarter Mile: 13.9 sec @ 106 mph Skidpad: .87g Top Speed: 160 mph Braking, 60-0 mph: 129 ft Slalom Speed: 60.0 mph YOu can see that the 1997 has a higher slalom speed, Im guessing that because this was before GM bought out SLP ( street Legal Proformance ) who modifies the z28's for chevy to make them ss's, they put more into the suspension. Sgt. Spuds September 15, 2005 Share Sgt. Spuds Member September 15, 2005 (edited) That car isnt 20 grand to buy new, he prolly has 120-150 in it, or maybe more. That car was originaly shipped to Gmmg when it was brand new. They over haul the car, all new suspension, limited edition this and that, drop a ls6 ( i think a ls6, bored to 427ci ) in it, hurst, all this. See, this cars basicly a new age Yenko Camaro. The guy is also selling the stock motor with it too, on a motor stand, can you imagian the price of a yanko with its original numbers matching motor? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/47-02-ZL1-C...1QQcmdZViewItem EDIT Found a window sticker for one from GMMG Edited October 21, 2005 by Sgt.
