san` August 14, 2003 Share san` GC Alumni August 14, 2003 Ok, so I live in mid Michigan about 5 hours from chicago, where trop and Cage are. Well, I ping around 150-200 to these two servers with about 20 choke and a little loss. But, I ping 50 with no choke/loss at all to DOH Foxtrot. I thought it might be problems with my cable, so i asked my friend to ping them, 20 to cage and trop. anybody have any ideas?
Phat_Splizzle August 14, 2003 Share Phat_Splizzle Member August 14, 2003 Ive had that problem before, and I reset my cable and rebooted and it was gone.

ratch August 14, 2003 Share ratch Member August 14, 2003 san i am in mid MI as well and yesterday all of a sudden i was pinging 220 constantly when i usually am <50. i unplugged my cable modem and then plugged it back in while i rebooted and had no problems... happens to me sometimes but that usually cures it! YoMamma August 14, 2003 Share YoMamma Member August 14, 2003 Im in Chicago and found that it's usually client side with me. Sometimes its cause of my router or sometimes I needa reboot the cable or comp. As for choke I found choke to be a server side problem cause any server running mods chokes me up.
