Who likes awps, I like em, I can't shoot one worth anything but I like when a team member nails a guy that I might have gotten killed by. Soooo many people complain about them, but i figure, one less guy on the other team is one less guy I gotta worry about. If i die once and awhile by the hand of the mighty gun of the artic, its ok... Barto August 22, 2002 Share Barto Member August 22, 2002 back in my day i lead the server in scouts for a few months, that was back when we had... <sniff> tango t1.... oh the memories. its a great fire and movement gun, snap off a shot, the second its off duck behind cover, dont move your mouse, pop back out and your x-hairs should fall back onto your target for the second shot. I was really against it for quite some time, but when I moved to get more serious at CS... it's like a requirement to be fairly good with the awp. I still prefer the scout* if possible - I don't much like the restricted movement speed... and honestly, who complains about somebody using the scout? In the end... I'd say if two guys go to fight eachother, equally skilled, one with a scout and the other with an awp - the awper will win more often than not. Playaa August 23, 2002 Share Playaa Member August 23, 2002 I'm all about the scout....I LOVE using that weapon as a team enhancer... sure it's difficult to get 2 shots in sometimes....but my 1 shot that hits em is the one that is gonna make my teammates plow em down.... I actually was rather proud of the fact that I was the best (most kills at least) scout user when I played on Platinum.....though that could be because no one ever used the scout.... besides....it's such a blast to outsnipe an AWM user.... *giggle* *giggle* Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
