do not despair! I am pretty sure this is a random thing that happens, I remember it happening to me once. I rebooted my system and it worked, but I think there's something else you can do if that doesn't work. There is a file you can delete in your steam folder that will reset somethingerother, and allow this problem to go away. I wish I could remember it, but I do not. Someone else surely knows what it is, and I'm only posting to let you know that you won't need to buy another copy of half-life. so whoever knows what that file is, do tell.

I don't know about you, but my viewing of the board is a vital part of my plan towards world peace.

Just finished off Xenosaga, and lemme tell you it was all worth it for that last episode. Truly amazing. It was pretty quick, and it was a lot of fun up till then, but they really kicked it up a notch for the last episode. It's only 12 eps. and there's room for more it seems. I'm thinking maybe these 12 coincide with the first game? dunno. wouldn't mind seeing a couple more sequels after this one though.

that's because I usually don't. a while back I was a ct, and cobalt and I were flying around the map with tmps and doing some nice flanking. I tried that again a couple times more and couldn't get the magic back. (last night for example I was a ct again, I think I was barely above even at the end.) ah well, what can I say. I like t on that map, and I like winning.

I wouldn't mind seeing that posted up here, unless it's top secret.

I just played menace on scopeless, and I fell in love instantly. It's HUGE. gigantic, really. I don't see why a huge map has to have a huge number of players. I like the possibilities a huge map offers to a small number of strategic players. menace has the feel of a lot of maps rolled into it too; like piranesi, italy, and inferno. I recommend checking it out next time it's up.
