I was at a funeral one time for a baby. It was a long time ago but I remember the preacher saying that God may have taken the child to spare the parents further suffering down the road. I thought it to be an odd line of thought. I have actually had this thought... If God were to take my child before they reached what christians call 'the age of accountability', it would be a blessing if in fact God could look into the future and see my child rejecting Him. As a parent I would much rather suffer the pain of losing my child than to have my child suffer for eternity. Yep, its a litte odd. I will pray for Donovon and his family. I only wish there was some way to help but that is only because I under value the worth of prayer. So I will pray knowing it will help the family in this trial.

Heheh! I should actually qualify it. He did it on his great grandfather's computer over the holidays. Now while the computer is not near as old as my grandfather, it is a little long in the tooth. The lack of youth contributed in slowing the game down a little bit aiding in the young man's quest for greatness. But my daughter got 8 million on my computer.

I just want to say 'thanks for sharing'. It is true that baring your struggles with us has helped us as well. Helped us keep things in perspective. Also the testimony of someone who has faced the worst life can give but come through it with God's help just reinforces the fact that we can trust God with whatever comes our way. I got up over level 100. Thought it might end there but it kept going so I quit. I think they have fixed the problem. You used to be able to turn detail higher and it slowed the game down to 1-3 fps. It was so slow that it was easy. It was like a permanent speed warp.

What source are you quoting, Preacher? Cause I disagree. A Protestant denomination is a denomination that came out of the Catholic religion during the protestant era. Hence the name Protestant. Lutherans, Presbyterians, Anglicans, etc. Some would even include Methodists but they came out of the Anglican church later on I believe. Baptist history is fascinating although I don't know it as well as I would like. But basically we never came out of the Catholic Church but go back through the "Anna-baptists". And the Anna baptist existed for centuries right along with the Catholic church. It's splitting hairs and most people of today would lump us in with the Protestants but its a label that technically doesn't apply. That is an excellent statement.

I've been playing this quite a bit over the past few days. I think my rating is mid 1700 right now. Multiplayer brings a different dynamic especially with the rating system. People will fight for second thus many times an early leader won't have much problem cause everyone is wiping each other out to keep from exiting early. It also seems that the start has been tweaked a little. Very rare for a player to be basically eliminated before he gets to roll. My only gripe is it takes up the entire screen. I like to watch TV while I play games like this (or vice versa) but the football game last night was pretty tiny...

This game is messed! For a game that can end immediately, it is way to random in the damage your opponents give. A guy with lower strength hits a 39 on me when the most I got in him was a 7? Sure he had a better sword but I was double him on strength. Gah, don't need the frustration.
