I think the first one looks VERY interesting, has elements of cbble and assault. I'd really like to try that one, please post if you try it. The Militia looks kinda cool also, never played 1.6 so I cant offer a comparison. Happy hunting dude!

Just exiting the game wont do it, I had to exit game, shut down Steam itself, and fire CS up and let steam restart, thats what did it for me. The other similarity I forgot to mention is the lack of ping going sky high, mine stayed at about 45 where it usually is.

Is this a thing that just happened today? I had the same problem, actually it was on the same map, cbble, I was on with Lunk and everybody, I just restarted steam and came back in and it was fine. If I did't have the exact problem, I would say look at your pc,but sounds like a steam thing.

Sounds like you still may have some lurking spyware, I use a combo of three programs, AVG, Spy-Bot S&D, AdAware, usually takes care of it. Check your processes that are running, go to www.answersthatwork.com to check anything you don't recognize to see if it could be spyware. Also, 256mb of ram is awfully light for XP, could be part of it. Hope this helps.

Yeah, it's a bit one sided, I don't care for it, but would continue to play it if it stays,the biggest problem is that the server drops to about 10 people when its on, and alot of people still dont understand that they need the map pack from PAF to get the textures right. I'd love to see Havanna and chateau, i like them both.

Hey all, just wanted to drop by and let you all know that my dad just got the game and will be playing on our server. He'll be using the name Pushrod, no dirty thoughts, he's an auto technician, and i'm hoping everyone will cut him some slack until he learns the ropes.
