The game may be aging for people who have play it before, but there are alot more people than 2 years ago 99,401 102,922 Counter-Strike: Source 72,163 74,976 Counter-Strike Those are players right now at 11am on a Saturday back in the day css was at 70,000 or so, its something on our end. Were too strict. We have the regs to maintain a good standing CSS server, something is just off from when we only had 1 CSS server with NFO, random pubbers would always be joining. Now there are hardly any random people playing, all regs.

Now for the serious post, I play CSS only. No other games compare really for me. I do think there is something wrong with the server, dont know what, dont know if people ping worse than before or what (i know where on the same network) But when we had the old retro, we only had to jump in and it would be full instantly, random people would join, I see alot less random people on the new server. Prolly out of the 20 last night I didnt recognize 1 person. To have 19 or 20 regs is nice, but those regs wont be playing at all times. I dont know if were not appearing in the list as much as before, or if our region code is off, just seems weird.
