Playaa August 19, 2004 Share Playaa Member August 19, 2004 will do man. my father went through an aneurysm about 5 years ago...his was so bad that it was caught about a day before it burst...he just woke up with horrible pain in his head and so much dizziness he couldn't stand. Sounds like your father's symptoms. If the doctor says the aneurysm isn't bad now....I say get a second opinion....that's never something to just ignore really. as for the surgery...I can't even explain how amazed I am at the medical world in the U.S....my father and sister have both had brain surgery and come out 100% fine. I was worried more for my father because it was the first brain surgery I'd ever had a close family member go to...but I really do trust the medical community now...technology has advanced so amazingly far.
