On joining some servers I get a console message saying cheats not allowed unless server is set to cheats 1 or something like that. Not always tho. Also, I was auto kicked froma server once for a "cheat"...didnt understand it but it had something to do with sight distance or fog distance...dont remember which. pagan February 24, 2005 Share pagan Member February 24, 2005 that anti-cheat message is just for when the server has sv_cheats set to 1. if you kept any of your old cfg stuff from 1.6, like 'stopsound', it triggers this response. there is likely something in your cfg that you need to change.
