Guest zerodamage May 7, 2006 Share Guest zerodamage Guests May 7, 2006 Make sure you watch it all. Very lucky. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-162891478515007486 I really dislike how Google makes he video bigger and distorts the image. This should be ready to go shortly. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_PCthzV1Mk (may not be available right away, just uploaded it)
VooDooPC May 7, 2006 Share VooDooPC Member May 7, 2006 I think he needs a stronger bike! At the bottom right there's a little arrow on Google video that lets you play it in it's original size.

ConGregation May 7, 2006 Share ConGregation Member May 7, 2006 I love how they are propping up. You would think they would have emergency services available at the site for something like that.
Demoner May 7, 2006 Share Demoner Member May 7, 2006 OUCH!! On a side note how fast has anyone gone on a bicycle? I have done 55mph can't image going too much faster then crashing!!
Assassinator May 7, 2006 Share Assassinator Member May 7, 2006 I go as fast as I can (without risking crashing into a car or other inanimate object, that applies for moving cars, too) when I ride around town and such. I think the fastest i've gone is probably only around 40 mph, but i've never tried on a mountain bike. When I read the caption I was thinking that a motorcycle exploded, and then thought, before watching the video "Wow, the person survived that?!" *BiGBonES** May 8, 2006 Share *BiGBonES** Member May 8, 2006 I think he was wearing a helmet but it came off during his crash? To be honest, i dont really feel sorry for him. Its such a dangerous sport as it is, its to be expected that these sorts of things will happen, not necessarily the bike collapsing but it only takes one bad ditch to throw him off the bike and he will go tumbling like he did in the video. I agree. Like others have said, the dood is lucky to be alive. Man. You should have heard my expression when they first show him wreck. Ouch.
