Hate to bug you fellas but I need help. I've asked my pals around here that know about music this question but they can't seem to help. I'm looking for bands that have the, describing it my best here, in your face guitar solos. They have suggested a few but I didn't really like them. One even suggested Lamb of God, don't know why?? They have guitar solos?

 

Right now for reference the best I've heard were Diamond Head's: The Prince and Am I Evil?

 

Also Metallica with No Remorse.

 

They don't have to be the faster solos like the 3 bands I used up above. I just like guitar solos.

Personally I love every solo on DragonForce's newest album, Inhuman Rampage. www.dragonforce.com

I just like how fast it is, plus it's got the metal feel to it. Though, it is fairly 'happy sounding'...

Thanks that's going to keep me busy for a while. I'm going to start buying a bunch of CDs to replace, well, what I've been buying. Just bought a Zeppelin CD the other week, starting to get into them. I think it's time for my Alice in Chains CDs to take a rest.

I saw Dragonforce live at Ozzfest last summer. They were an odd bunch.
