anonymo March 28, 2007 Author Share anonymo Member March 28, 2007 am I the only one that finds it incredible that ANYONE is actually worried 'bout this....? No...is that not evident?
[LaW]Maverick March 28, 2007 Share [LaW]Maverick Member March 28, 2007 hehehe... it was a rhetorical question...just to highlight the idiocy of it all :-) The news media will label anything as dangerous because "terror" = good ratings quite sad actually... If I were a kid and my mom and dad were worried 'bout me developing a code to speak to friends, I would make sure I had something crazy to type every time they would see it: fykiel,m$§, Éâ–ÂNir Xenu, Xenu, Xenu! Then I'd work it out with my friends so they reply with something as crazy (as well as something that includes Lord Xenu, because we all know Tom Cruise is nuts)
mookie March 28, 2007 Share mookie GC Alumni March 28, 2007 (edited) I'm worried about this. EDIT: These statements are only marginally related to each other. (as well as something that includes Lord Xenu, because we all know Tom Cruise is nuts) Somehow I doubt that these kids understand allusion. anonymo March 28, 2007 Author Share anonymo Member March 28, 2007 I think I'm starting to figure this out... Parents who either forgot what it's like to be a kid or who can remember and are jealous are under the impression that they can actually have a say in what their 8-18 year olds see and do. If your 9 year old son wants to break into the neighbors garage in broad daylight because he was informed (by a most reliable source) that the said garage contained certain "photojournalist magazines" there is pretty little you can do to stop it from happening. Kids will be kids...just think of what children saw in everyday life just 100 years ago and then be thankful everything is as civilized as it is.
