Unclean June 26, 2008 Share Unclean Member June 26, 2008 (edited) I've got 4x1GB, so I guess that wouldn't apply to me. Edited June 26, 2008 by DNA
DNA June 26, 2008 Author Share DNA Member June 26, 2008 (edited) Nope it would not... P.S. i did not edit your post.. just pressed the wrong button. Sry But mine went from from 4.8 with the new ram and put them in Dual and went to a 5.9 rating. Much faster..... Oh, a post editing war, eh? -Unclean Edited June 26, 2008 by Unclean Post editing war with DNA
dwEEziL June 26, 2008 Share dwEEziL Member June 26, 2008 No, that means you ARE running in dual mode. Typically, RAM slots 1 and 3 are paired and 2 and 4 are paired.
Unclean June 26, 2008 Share Unclean Member June 26, 2008 Gotcha. Now I can't wait to try out that rating jobber... see what mine is at, and if it's performing as it should. Somehow I think things could be optimized. DragonFire is getting WAY higher FPS than me, and we've got the same proc/videocard.
DNA June 26, 2008 Author Share DNA Member June 26, 2008 ya the rating will atleast tell you what is weak, so you can look into why it is... My guess is the mem is going to slower then hers...Dragon should post her Vista ratings.
Unclean June 26, 2008 Share Unclean Member June 26, 2008 What the... I'm getting a 1.0, because of the Graphics and Gaming Graphics. Maybe it's a driver thing?
DNA June 26, 2008 Author Share DNA Member June 26, 2008 That is a laptop or desktop? What Card?
anonymo June 27, 2008 Share anonymo Member June 27, 2008 I get a measly 4.8 because of my 3gigs of ram...everything else is 5.4+
Unclean June 27, 2008 Share Unclean Member June 27, 2008 I updated the video drivers, and now get a 5.5 for the overall rating: 5.9 for the proc/videocard, and 5.5 for the ram. My RAM timings are currently 5-5-5-18, but the ram is rated for 4-4-4-12. Any ideas on how to bump this up? I tried adding +.3 volts in the bios, but there's no change according to cpu-z. dwEEziL June 27, 2008 Share dwEEziL Member June 27, 2008 Unclean, if you're OCing your CPU, that's probably what's changing your CAS on your mem (you probably aren't running 1:1). Post up a pic of your Memory tab in CPUz.

DNA June 28, 2008 Author Share DNA Member June 28, 2008 Did you go ahead and set the timming yourself. That is what I had to do for mine.
dragonfly June 28, 2008 Share dragonfly Member June 28, 2008 I got a 5.8 5.9 for everything except for 5.8 for the RAM. (4 gigs @ 800mhz 5-5-5-12 I do believe)
