There are about 6 or 7 GC folk that are going to be playing the open beta for a promising new MMO, Aion Online. It starts today (Sunday) at 9am PST.

Come crash the server with us!

Dang! Lousiest beat me by a minute.

The servers are going to be down for about an hour (starting now) to address a lag issue. If anyone is interested in joining us, we can try out some of the other classes. Don't worry about "being behind", you're not too late. :)

The Open Beta lasts till this Sunday, I believe.

We're playing on the server that starts with "K". The lag issues have all but vanished and most of us are getting really good gameplay time. Jackie and Ebil joined us yesterday too :)

Also, if you have Vent, look us up there, as it's easier to communicate. Look to seeing you in game :luxhello:

Woah, sorry, forgot to mention, Mav. You need to have a key for the Open Beta. Right now, I only know that FilePlanet gives them out if you're a member. That, or you have to pre-order the game (I pre-ordered mine from GameStop, and put a $5 deposit, so technically, you could just cancel your pre-order and lose your deposit if you don't like the game)

And Zero's right. All chars will be wiped for release. If you pre-ordered the game, you get a 2-day head start to play prior to release.

Actually, at Gamestop, you can transfer your pre-order to something else if you don't like the game. So I'll do that, go pre-order it, and if I don't like it, I'll switch it over to Halo ODST or something--or, perhaps, Star Wars Old Republic, since I'm 90% sure I'll be buying that (unless they jack up the monthly cost). :boing:
