gOOters August 4, 2003 Author Share gOOters Member August 4, 2003 In that case...delete this thread, oh yeah and I'm changing my name back to MmmmgOOters... I agree mom, you could get a great Rolex AND a slick Ferrari for that price. But the Grande Complication is for those people who are so sickeningly rich that they HAVE every Ferrari, and a home in every city they like, and a Jet and Yacht, etc. The watch has over 1300 parts and is hand assembled. The yearly output is about 5 movements. The creation is an art that has been passed down for one generation and represents the ultimate in precision timekeeping. Regular maintenance falls at about the 60 year mark. This watch keeps better time than Swiss standards dictate and has a perpetual calender with moon phases and 4 digit yearly display. If I ever got one...I would HAVE to take it apart!
