I did not like it, to long and not enough action. But most of those other movies were awesome! All the Jamesbond moives...except with Timothy Dalton...they were ok...i guess... 5. Lord of the Rings All of them!!!!!!! 6. Bad Boys...haven't seen #2 yet. But as for all the sappy... "but my lord, you are a king and thine end shalt be thy breath of the earth of hence I shalt not pass." toooooo much sap! Golem or golum however you spell it ROCKS! I've always struggled with HE-man and skeletor movies. Conan the barbarian. Zena the princesswarrior. Don't get me wrong LOTR is better than all of those but I have a hard time with this story. I think I need to read the books. For example why the heak is everyone so dang scared of soron (sorry if i cant spell the names) getting the ring. If I were the ranger or legolas I'd say... I don't give a putts butt if that queer gets a hold of the ring..... We kicked his you know what before and we'll kick it again... He aint had enough of a beating huh?... I'll hit him so hard he'll be saying "mama! mama! please I don't want to go to school" I'll cut his other finger off!!!! If they worked him before when he had the ring then he must not of been sooo bad! BRING EM ON! Doesn't make sense to me. Perhaps the books tell more on this issue. Also I watched em both again to see if I'm missing anything in the story and on both I fell asleep. Sorry I think a better director could have done better...I'm not impressed. Everyone these days is doing good graphics so I need more to the whole. I don't feel much for any of these characters. Where as it would have been horrifying had han solo been blasted. So what is impressive directing you ask? Alien Forest Gump Empire strikes back The shining Matrix (1) T2 Godfather fiddler on the roof jurassic park 1 the ring the good the bad and the ugly sound of music training day and there are sooo many more And the list goes on. A movie I can not wait for though is the Max Payne movie that's slated sometime or another. Also, I watched this last night too: The Transporter - Some of the best action scenes I've seen, and the character development is just great.
