  1. This period where M2 is still shaking the rust off is the best. Edit: or it's something to do with this
  2. Awesome! I fall victim to this 1/3 times joining a new server and haven't figured out how to fix it...console, of course!
  3. 8.5? Captain Optimism. I shot M2 in the face with a scout yesterday. You don't get too many chances to do that, unless you're SJ and in the privacy of their home. Side note: stop telling people I died in a plane crash SJ
  4. DO IT! ps, how's life? Dude, don't be insensitive, he's melting.
  5. Yeah that's weird, it definitely shows up separately from the beta in my games list
  6. Let's not joke about DWP...I just got a flashback...
  7. Dibs on asking you if your coffee table can run Crysis!
  8. Just on a breather while I drink my dinner. I'm starting to get a handle on the recoil so its definitely not that much of a hurdle (23 hours played since tuesday) I can only imagine the custom maps with these physics oh and of course...
  9. It's $13.49 right now, on sale from the whopping $14.99 launch price. I didn't play the beta prior to these recent updates, but this is probably the best fps game I've played in recent years (disregarding source). Think of it this way, Jackiechan is complaining about the mechanics. Anytime Jackie doesn't like something I know it's good.
  10. I'm loving it so far, everything I had been hoping for - which are also things I completely expect some people to absolutely hate. So we have a server? That's amazing, because wow are pubbers scary.
  11. I'm part of a big group of survivors, we have cars, boats, a safe house...everything. Can't play it though, too glitchy...the amount of times I've hacked my best friend to death while trying to protect him...NO MORE
  12. Well Clue, you might have gotten your wish. I've never seen such a big update. Oh and the beta opens today for anyone who pre-purchased...IT BEGINS
  13. Could be promising, it's not the end of the world that they're basing it off the TV series, though they'll have some stiff competition now that the ARMA devs have put the creator of DayZ on the mod full time for ARMA3 (he was a ARMA dev already, but worked on DayZ in his spare time).
  14. See, people with purchasing power generally answer the phone like "SPEAK TO ME" rather than "FRAAAAAND?" so the autodialer knows you're cheap and lonely almost immediately and doesn't waste precious playbacks of the recorded message. The worst is I get one that starts off with a ocean liner's horn "HHHRRRRRRNNNNNNNN" - I've never stuck around to see what they're selling me, or if it's actually a friend being held captive at sea, but they call at least once a month.
  15. Just waiting for ARMA to come up on the summer sale and I'll pick it up
  16. Not that I'm very far yet but fireballs+haunt and zombie dogs with everything else you mentioned has been working out pretty well for me so far
  17. lol...if it makes you feel better flitter, I did the same thing
  18. Broke up with my gf to play...almost seriously...but seriously, VIDYA GAMES! Anonymo#1682
  19. That's just what they want her to do...
  20. Retailers across North America received their stock yesterday!
  21. Been looking at this...but like Ebil I can't be consumed...as much as I want to be...I think it's free open beta every weekend until release though? Or did I misread that somewhere Also, lol at how this link was shortened http://www.reddit.co...e_a_schoolgirl/
  22. Actually, I almost feel like the drastic shift from the usual, or at least the impression this trailer gives that it's far from a typical COD game, does entice me enough to actually consider it. There was a very poignant video I can't find right now about the level design/gameplay mechanics from COD4 to MW3 that talked about how you're always rushing into a never ending sea of respawning enemies and how little skill, and no tactics, it took to be good at the games. Basically the point was that CoD games are now at the forefront of the casual market, and I would agree. They're not even competing with CS or other FPSs, but with the Wii bowling and Maddens (dare I call Madden a casual game? oh I dare). So if they do take an entirely different approach this time around I'm definitely interested, but at the very least I'll wait until it comes out and see actual people playing it to consider the full price (wait, forgot CoD games never go down in price...ever...)
  23. I recently upgraded to the Asus RT-16 and I lurves it. It's probably a bit overkill and a bit expensive but it handles everything perfectly and I haven't even loaded Tomato or DD-WRT yet. I've got my PC with a wireless card running 300mbs over N, the PS3, 360, two laptops, another desktop, iphone/bb and my playbook...all playing nice with no significant issues
