sorry.. i know the team i'm on is typically considered 'stacked' kidding aside.. Team stacking, whether intentional or unintentional is going to happen. There are just going to be those maps where one team is unsuccessful due to the map and makeup of the players. There is no clear cut solution. All we can do (as mav is illustrating) is to be conscious about it, and make an effort to even things out.. I've always been impressed that our regulars and .gc members are quick to join a losing side, and as long as we continue to discuss it and keep it on the surface both in the forums and server.. our servers will stay full and competitive..

Playing against good players is the way to go. And the .gc servers are some of the most competitive pubs out there due to the quality of players. If you like the intensity in there, you'll love playing competitively on the Cal or TWL scene. I'd encourage anybody looking to play competitively to contact John and get some scrim experience and possibly some TWL matches under their belt. Also, an idea that I've had brewing.. Although I do not want to take away #s from our public servers, I'd like to see .gc create some sort of community/environment where members and regulars can get together and create 5 v 5 pickup games on the fly... PS - John, got room for a TWL admin on the .gc TWL team ?? - one agreement would be that I get to TK farmerisme whenever I want..

agreed it will run cs:s fine, but you're still playing it on a 15" display and smaller keyboard. but maybe its just me, i just couldn't ever get in to gaming on a laptop.

whats your pc set up at home? I have a feeling that if its nice, you won't really enjoy playing css on your lappy, thus you can get away with one with those spec's and only a 128 mb gpu

actually, my 7900GT came with a dvi to vga adapter.. i'd be surprised if this one didn't. I have 2 running in SLI.. and I STILL want to pick one up from woot *EDIT - doesn't come with dvi to vga converter.. i'll ship you one if you pay for shipping though.. I have them laying around the house
