Yeah, by definition a ricer is a car that was only modified to 'look' or 'sound' fast, not actually be fast. As a traditional American muscle car wannabe fan, I tend to have a dislike for almost all of them. However I understand the difference between people who just modify their body to look cool, and people who modify the car to actually gain performance. As a side, i always get a kick of a civic with an after market exhaust, as it tries to accelerate down the road, yet becouse of that exhaust you hear it but need to be patient to hear the rpm actually rev up, but im sure they feel cool! Then again what do I know, im a motorcycle guy who seems to be getting into the mechanics of dual sport bikes, and thats not exactly a niche thats popular, at least in the states.

Guiness is great, and I recommend it to anyone not used to drinking beer. That said I mostly drink lagers, and russian imperial stout, depending on my mood. The imperial stout is very flavorful and thick with lower than normal carbonation. But beware if drinking them on a night out, as they pack more than your average alcohol content. I tend to stick with the local brew's from Cleveland such as the great lakes brewing company. Find a nice local brew near your hometown and grab a sampler pack.

EVDO rocks, when there are not a lot of people sharing it with you. Otherwise it can turn crap real fast. It all depends on your conditions. I wish my company would offer it, but its quite an investment getting all that data back to the telco switch efficiently. Its recommended two T1's dedicated data per cell site, more would obviously be needed if its more than a single carrier frequency site. We dont have anywhere near enouph capacity coming in, both in terms of fiber coming in, as well as capacity on our DACCS. Man it sure would be nice though. /would have free wireless broadband if we did get it..

Since we started giving pic's of ours. Its still in dual sport form, once I get some cash I am going to lace some 17" rims to it and run wider street only tires, as well as upgrade to a larger front rotor.

Before I moved out of the boonies and back to cleveland, I played CS:S on a 512k/128k dsl connection just fine. Regular ping of 30 on project mayhem and recrud (they were alive at the time ) and generally was stable. It all depends on the companies at your location, so feedback from friends/neighbors would be alot more helpful than someone who uses the same company 100+ miles away

Stuff.. Actually Steam took a crap and refused to start, and I waited a week before I gave up and reinstalled the PC. I used the time to watch anime and actually bought a TV finally. Nothing extreme just a 34" HDTV widescreen.

I would love to be riding, sadly this cleveland weather is just not cooperating... /rides a big single dual sport.

This guy wasn't great enough to make me think he might have some walls, but i spec'd him while dead a few times, and noticed something fishy. I realize hes not an obvious snap-to-head hacker. but without wire frame i noticed he preaimed around corners. wireframe you can actually see him watch someone pop into from around corner, and his reaction. My demo gets skippy at times, don't know why. but its good enough for some feedback. About three rounds in, at one point he zooms in with scope at Dust2 long A DD, and never gets far enouph to see past the wood. but he noticed it was clear, and then just ran it. Later in that run, after some calamity when he gets flashed. he see's some ct's near spawn through wall, and set's up some lousy shots... He had a respectable score, but nothing extraordinary, so im bringing it here for others ideas. After I viewed the demo, and got back to the server, m2 said something about him maybe hacking, but sucking at it. Maybe he can chime in here as well. I loved how at the beginning of the game, everyone was scrambling with pistols, now that never happens, multiple people have rifles and tend to sit back a bit more. The old way, the good people tended to blast through the rifle levels quickly, so it was never a large concern of mine. And we always had like 5 guys stuck on nade/knife level frantically trying to be the first to get it.

I have an old Logitech Mouseman Dual optical mouse that I just cannot part with. I wore the rubber thumb area away and the mousewheel became warped with heavy usage. I just ripped the remaining rubber from the thumb area, and happened to scavenge the whole mousewheel assembly from a cheap Dell mouse we had around that fit (it was a logitech mouse just branded dell). I have tried to play with other mice, and i cannot stand the feel. When this mouse finally goes I guess I will just quit playing FPS's...

lol, I almost gave myself frostbyte doing that and spraying it on my thumb!!! in my high school years I did that to my little brother who was walking around my room. It gave him frostbite through his shirt and he had a silver dollar sized scar for over a year.... good times.. mind the warning
