Everyone has all these fantastic ideas, but the thing is, they would take a lot of work in coding and implementing properly. The extra players mod is unstable enough as is, any changes would likely make the server crash more than it already does. Also any updates Valve makes can mess things up because they dont care about third party mods. Changing the Infected attributes is easily enough done, but would cause confusion to newer players, so its something that would have to be announced and organized. One of the reasons our server is so popular is that theres very little mods, lets keep it that way.

The kill command was disabled a long time ago in L4D because it was being used for griefing. Ive seen people do this a few times, if I see this happen, they can take a vacation from the server for a bit.

OK, hi! Happy: relax a bit. You only got banned for 15 minutes, not that long. This is best when people are rushing because it stops them from just coming right back and doing it again. One rusher can kill an entire team really fast, so sometimes an admin has to make a judgement call very quickly to prevent as much of a mess as he can. With how hectic it gets, sometimes its hard to judge whether someone is rushing or just blocking the front, so if you did get temporarily banned, youre free to come back after the ban expires. Just try to stay closer to the group and communicate what youre doing better so to avoid confusion in the future. As for the thing with burning the tank, I wasnt there so I cant say if that was the right thing to do. Admins are given a degree of discretion to make the game run as smoothly and as fairly as possible. Try to word any complaints a bit better so we can understand your issue a bit more and deal with it from there.

Sigh... They votekicked you because you didnt get in the elevator fast enough. I was going to veto the vote, but it was at the end of the round and it went through, so its a 5 minute ban. I told them that was not very nice, and if you came back to just let you play. People tend to get really worked up sometimes in L4D, and the first thing they do is look for someone to blame for the failure. Ive seen so many votekicks called at that exact spot for exactly the same reason. I honestly had no idea of your gender, and I dont think any of them did either. In that situation I dont think it mattered at all if you were male or female, you were just the person who got stuck behind the spit and didnt get in the elevator right away.

Blaster Master on the NES. 3 lives, 5 continues, no save feature. There was even a part where it forced you to kill yourself to open the next area. Finally finished it one day after months of trying.

Aw, my birthday was last week...

Hi! I was on the server today, and I noticed something thats still going on, and something thats bothered me for quite a while now: Not everyone thats slightly ahead of the group is rushing!!! Everyones so quick to jump on people for rushing, but something that has to be understood is that having someone play ahead by a bit to block key spawns is a tactic that wins games. The person that does this is taking a chance: when the rest of the group gets held up, and you know they will, are they going to turn around, or stop? Will they come back to help their team or will they stand their ground to stop the other team from sending a stream of Chargers and Spitters through that narrow corridor? Someone who is truly rushing will continue running and not look back. Stuff like this is why i dislike using my admin for anything gameplay related. If someone is contually running very far ahead, they get a warning, and if the continue the next map, theyre leaving. But if someone played a bit too far ahead to block spawns, and got screwed for it, thats how the game is played. A lot of good plays are made by moving the forward Survivors farther from the main group and delaying the back ones. Anyways, Ill be around a bit more. Try and compliment the other team when they make a good play instead of always looking for the person on your team to blame. Everyone play nice now!

Hi Kira!! If a player on the Survivor team is afk/crashed/not moving, and Im on Infected, I cant see them unless Im looking directly at them, because theyre not moving and dont glow! If this happens I need the name of the person right away, otherwise its better to votekick them and get them out as fast as possible. Being an admin is tough sometimes. I cant count how many times Ive died because Im in menus dealing with something or removing a problem player. And no matter what you do, someone is going to be dissatisfied and complain. This is why I try to be as hands off as possible with actual gameplay stuff and only use the admin for removing problems. I had a player once accuse me of "stealing" his points when the !buy bugged out and took his points but gave nothing, just because someone had told him I was an admin.

Hi iNfO! Ill start by saying that L4D is a game that makes people rage. As soon as the Survivor team fails at all, the first thing they do is find someone to blame for the failure. Some people can just be having a bad day, or are just plain mean, and take it out on the game. A lot of the time you just have to let it roll off, and laugh at how some people can get so mad at a video game. But if someone is riding you constantly, thats not acceptable. I definitely feel what youre saying, I find Ive been playing less at certain times because of the general attitudes of certain people, both members and non-member regulars, and I feel that saying anything will just lead to more argument. But now Im seeing someone who has been playing here a long time saying they wont play on the server because of bad attitudes? Not going to stand for it. I love this server and most of the people that play here, and seeing a few people ruining the good times for no other reason than they have rage issues or personal problems just doesnt sit well with me. Even if Im not playing anything at the time, anyone can message me if theres any problems on the server and Ill come straighten things out. Our server isnt top ranked just because of the mods or lack of them, its also because we have a great community built on respect and fairness. And iNfO, you can message me anytime, Id like to hear more of what happened.
