  1. This is why I don't use the mp5. The silenced is my smg of choice.
  2. It is 6, but raising the cost just makes it that much harder on everyone else. The top point getters will still get their laser AKs regardless
  3. I've seen servers where the tank has like 18k hp. And it's not fun for anyone except the tank
  4. I think a tank would be an interesting twist. Maybe have it with a 50% chance to spawn a tank, or an incremental chance. 1st respawn is 1/3 chance, 2nd is 2/3 and 3rd respawn is 100% chance. Does your team run back to defib for -25, or do you risk chancing a tank for that player? Either way there needs to be an incremental penalty for respawning.
  5. Could do it like a scramble, where you need 3 members to initiate a changemap vote.
  6. Sometimes it ends with balanced scores but there is so much confusion and switching that the scores are meaningless.
  7. The hardest part I think for members getting into a slot that opens up in the evening is the time it takes to type out to join a team. Theres a lot of people that set to join the server when a slot opens up. So they connect quickly and take that open spot from a member who has been waiting in spec for 20 minutes.
  8. I'd settle for that too. Jockey points are fairly good now with the timer points. Sometimes it's nice to just have fun with it though which is why I do rocket jockeys.
  9. This problem has been getting worse. There are a half dozen guys that do this now specifically for the reason that it gives them an advantage. Hard to go a chapter now without it happening once. It's not fun at all for infected or the slow loaders to have to constantly deal with this.
  10. Yeah it seems to happen mostly to the same people over and over again. I didn't get switched but saw it happen to some people half a dozen times. Also, is it possible to add in rocket jockey points, or a rocket jockey achievement? If I go flying and actually hit somebody with it, that should be worth something at least. Just a small point value like 2 or something would be fine. Doesn't need to be extreme like how hunters have it.
  11. Would be difficult to do on the main server and new players would get fairly lost. Many have trouble with the buy menu. The mutation thing could work, maybe do it somewhat like how skymod does but with a team upgrade for a high cost like 25-50 points.
  12. Coldstream has a lot of problems with it, particularly framerate issues and lack of places to spawn as infected.
  13. I've found that teams have been a little more even as of late. But it usually turns out to be the team with the most new people loses.
  14. Yeah but 2 points now is too much for most people to even bother with. Would it be possible to just set a maximum number of the free smgs like 2 or 3 instead then they cost points or just add a few second delay to buying a weapon? Frankly i'm less inclined to play the server with this update because unless you are like the #1 or 2 player on your team you can't afford to give the points for it with how high heals and stuff are already. This hurts the rest of the team a lot more than it does the mp5 spammers because they're likely going to have a ton of points anyway. Maybe i'l have to just stop sending points to people so I can afford it now.
  15. 5 tanks is nothing, and people really would not be happy if they earned all those points can't can't do anything with them. The reason it's 50 points is that it's not meant to be obtained by every player on a team. Usually only the highest 2-4 point getters on a team might be able to get a tank on average. If you're having trouble with a lot of tanks, your team needs to pull together because it's likely a lack of communication doing it.
  16. Yeah if people are having trouble with your name just do the !np and they'l see it
  17. No, rock throwing is starting to be a serious problem. Theres a decent number of people that do nothing but rock snipe on finales. I understand it's a "tactic" but it really does make the game not much fun by using all your points on molotovs in a hope to actually hit a tank you can't see.
  18. I usually go with the Don't get too far ahead. It's a gentle reminder for everyone and most of the time people are spawn blocking. However it does help people that thought the team was coming right up behind them.
  19. I'd be up for it. I played a server last night with some heavy coop mods for 16 players. Common hit for 10 tanks had super massive hp and threw 100% accurate rocks, like straight line with no arc. You could only get good guns/medpacks/pills/etc that dropped from special infected and they could take someone down in seconds. It was very hard especially with super sensitive friendly fire that did high damage. Got kinda sad when a tank spawned and killed like 12 people so it was me and 3 other guys left to kill a 25k hp tank by ourselves that incapped people in 1 hit.
  20. Yeah a lot of times infected have to play catchup on the top of the chapter because of rushing. The bottom half of the chapter is almost always a lot more even because everyone has time to prepare. Sk has said he does it specifically because it gives an advantage, but it's a gamble every time. It rattles both teams and forces everyone to play at his pace rather than developing their own. It works fine for the first 1-2 ppl out of the spawn, but everyone else left behind pays for the rushing.
  21. I used to always load in last until I upgraded, i'm somewhere in the front/middle now. It happened a LOT when back before I upgraded where i'd come in and already be boomed and half health or something after a chapter change. It's not quite as bad for infected as they can still spawn but won't be in position anywhere. I'l be down for helping test
  22. I'm really getting tired of having rushers open the door and run out before everyone is even loaded in. If we have to we can call it the sk timer, because he will rush out within seconds of grabbing his gun without fail. I can't count how many times the survivors have been wiped because of rushing out of the spawn. We need something like 15-20s so everyone can get loaded in and grab a gun before sk goes charging off and gets half the team incapped.
  23. It may not have happened to you but i can recall maybe half a dozen times I got kicked not long after joining a game for a member reservation. It's disappointing yes, but it's to be expected that paying members would get some perks so i just would wait for the next open space. Like Valen I was paying more attention to the game than what was really going on but I did catch a lot of it. I did however notice that Chick was in spectate for awhile looking for a spot to join. I also noticed matt repeatedly joining the server and getting kicked for spec slots. It blew out of proportion pretty quickly and the end result of it was to be expected of picking a fight with admins. Everyone involved needed to cool down. While uncommon it does happen that people get kicked, usually during primetime. I'm not going to take anyone's side here but I think it's best if we let the issue be behind us.
  24. Noticed a bug where it seems the exp levels for things seem to reset/rollback every time the map changes. I've hit lv57 like 10x today. Doesn't really effect a whole lot but it's weird to keep seeing it do that.
  25. There is also a bug with the glows. Zoeys do no glow whatsoever unless they are actively firing a weapon like an automatic. And even then it goes away very shortly after. So most of the time they're ninjas that even running full speed won't give a glow. So if the team has 5 zoeys, it's really hard on the infected
