Hold on now. I know in CSGO you don't gain forward speed with the strafe jump / bunny hop. Is that true in L4D2? If you don't gain forward speed, I don't see a problem with it. However, if you use it to get to spots that you can see over walls or aren't meant to be, then I'd consider that an exploit. The other issue I see is that it could significantly cut you off from your team and be perceived as rushing.

Ever play in a server where people spray nasty porn all over and constantly yell racist and homophobic slurs while swearing? Yeah, it's not fun. Also, we can't control how old the players who join our servers are, as we're not their parents / guardians. Therefore, we like to provide the best environment that we can while still enjoying the game.

We had vanilla for two months and it never gained any ground. That's why we all started playing on the mass loot / pvp server. Once we saw the popularity and fun of the full server, we opted to move ours in that direction since it was sitting empty.

Live players can't hear dead players. So, unless they're using third party software or steam chat they can't really ghost.

you can get your stuff by putting it into a chest by the door that you can't physically reach but can access before suiciding. You jump up on a furnace or barricade and access the chest. Put all your stuff in it then suicide- open the door right above the chest and grab all your stuff. Right...

This is such a horrible idea. Really takes the ability to sneak up on people out of the game.

Yeah... I'll point to this thread next time a "oh my gosh you guys need more admins!!!" thread pops up.

Picture a house on stilts. Nothing on the bottom two floors except a ton of pillars. The pillars don't allow anything else to be built there, like stairs. So, basically you jump up onto a couple objects leading to a final jump that allows you to put all your stuff in a chest. Then, you suicide. After that you respawn in your house, open a door by said chest, and grab your stuff. Basically, only you can spawn in your house, nobody can build into it, thus making it unraidable.

Fenix, locked doors are OK. Unraidable means a base you have to suicide to get into.
