  1. I agree with primus. If you want something fast, that's it! Lots o' fun!
  2. How can you fly when you are quick fried to a crackly crunch (or a pile of ashes)?
  3. Sorry I missed last night. The joys of taking a week off to do drywall work and to fix the laundry room (leaky shower from upstairs). maybe we should all stop playing and kill the Wentz!! ?? Now THAT would be fun! :)

    Kidney Stone

Feel sorry for you mo. I know what it is like - but the very first one I (ever) had was 9mm. It was a rather interesting experience that I don't want to go through again. Remembering the feelings of being used for batting practice and the stent being removed still makes me cringe a bit. Good meds though Bottom line is that it hurt like hades (the stones and the "treatments"). Yeah, the straining is one of those interesting things that you don't want to do much of (I have to strain ....what?). Interesting feeling with the bigger ones though - you definately know when you pass one. My stones were sort of diet related (uric acid stones instead of calcium stones). I have gout which means you have a predisposition to the silly things (uric acid stones anyway). Granted, I could change my diet, but the only things that aren't bad for the gout are fat, sugar and water. Pretty much anything else you would eat (or drink) is bad. Ain't life grand? Best of luck to ya man! Hope you don't have to give birth in the future! If you haven't seen it, some info for ya: linky
  5. Might have had some bad ones there.... Newcastle is best with a "slight chill" - that is, cool, not cold. Remember, it is an English ale, and they like theirs a bit on (what we would call ) the warm side. For right now I have to satisfy myslef with the few cases of Shiner Bock that I have in the garage. Get that stuff cold and it goes down smooth. Of course, the fresh stuff on tap is muchly better. All in all, it's not too bad.

    Bioshock

Thanks for the info! The more me reads, the more me wants!
  7. And Happy Birthday to you, $10 man! Do you wantthat $10 yet?
  8. I have to admit, I agree with windex. Granted, it may take more "time" to admin, but I think that in certain cases it gets the point across much better - you know, sort of like "big brother is watching you and you have been warned". OTOH, you think that regulars on servers would know better. Granted, it leaves this open for even more debate (yikes)! Then again, itmightbe a good thing to treat everyone like a noob - maybe the emarrasment of being treated like a nood would keep certain problem children in check. At least, that is the Christmas wish list.....
  9. Hmm.... gotcha both beat. Nice posts though. As to working - well, if I ever hit the lotto, I'm retired. I'll still let everyone beat me up/run me over/pwn me though - because I love you guys sooo much!
  10. Upgrade budget? I shudder at the thought. Depending on what happens - and when the finally get around to dropping UT3 - will ultimately dictate how much I get to spend. I also think that the farther we go into the year, the cheaper certain comp[onents will become. Only time will tell though.....
  11. Yeah - quit while you're ahead (a.k.a. you need a new tactic)? Killing a wentz on the ground is tough. Easier if you blast him from a mile away with the tank, but still tough. I don't know about everyone else, but every time I see a bender perched way up high, I automatically go for it because it is *usually* Pat. As to the infant thing - must be bonus points. You should know that it wouldn't stop him...
  12. Wouldn't it be fun if it blew up like a 'deemer when the carrier is killed
  13. Hey Playaa - shoot me the specifics (snailmail or paypal) and I'll send your winnings your way!
  14. I already have mine packed - and they have the wide tip
  15. Thanks - was just wondering about that. We are playing the Par 3, right? Seeya there!
  16. There was last year. I used my laptop as well.
  17. Echoing Wentz - Take it easy! If you were on the other night you would have heard comments from multiple people exclaiming that they couldn't hit anything - and these were from people that take great glee in going after Pat's twin beams. Seriously though - we all go through periods of suckage. Just remember that when Dark gets back and try to beat him into submission (something everyone would have fun with I'm sure). And if Dark reads this, I'm sure that he will have more fun with me. Then I'll really have to change my name to Dark's Target.
  18. Yeah - because he is bringing the roll of duct tape. Or if he wants to be a bit nicer (easier to remove) he will bring the gaffer's tape... Now about the chair.....
  19. Oooh..... Swenson's. Not quite like homer saying "doughnuts" but pretty darn close. But dinner? I thought they were lunch. A rather great choice. Sarge is correct - great food. Get more than what you think you want, because you'll be craving more....!
  20. OK, so you *really* want to know what happens (at least some of the more memorable events): So, I'll start: 1. Who goes trash diving? 2. Who fell off the golf cart three times? 3. Name three flammable liquids used to start a fire. 4. Does wet green wood burn? 5. Insert what where? 6. Who has a three drink maximum? 7. Who was in the torpedo? 8. Who was in the bar while the rest of the team waited to start a CS match during the toruney? 9. Who went swimming? 10. Who had a Royal Flush on the Flop? 11. What do you use a leaf blower for?
  21. What?!!? You mean we can't order pizza and get rather upset when the pizza guy doesn't deliver it to our seat? You sir, are a man among men! The Big Kahuna! The Taco Grande! The only problem I see is that tacos and beer (for those old enough) will significantly add to certain greenhouse gasses in the immediate vacinity of the ballroom.... And yes, I still owe you a beer. Mayber a taco to go with it. Just stay downwind after comsumption
