Thanks Fatty, I was getting down in the dumps there for a minute. Gonna practice up on my CS skills Besides I'm gonna bring everything just in case.

Is there a server running for UT2k4? I would hope so. Taking into consideration that I am really bad at CS, and would basically be a new target for you guys, with UT at least I could vent some frustration. I'm gonna try to set a few things up on my own here at home and run it buy some of the big dogs in charge just to see what they think. Providing we are going to have a server for it.

Ok---I would like to take this time to ask---WHERE ARE THE UT2K4 ADMINS HERE! No tournements set up, no inter clan wars on the ready? Come on guys where are all the UT players. I'll set stuff up if thats what it will take, would be more than happy to. Please leave a post here if you want me to get the ball rolling on this. ( You know--UT admins --Flitter, Penty, ect...)

Sounds a little like some resource issues. Clean up you cache, check what is running in the background and try losing some stuff in your start up---just use the basics in start up. Not sure how much ram your using but it might be straining a little. Control panel--display--settings--then go to advance. You should have your nvidia settings tab in there. When i click the tab in mine it opens up all of my graphics settings so i can tweak it there.

Now thats what i call a mod!!!! I think it is to easy to just buy a premade case and call it a mod. I like what some of the guys did with the windows and all but the one on this forum is my kind of mod. I am hoping to build my own don't know what direction to go though. Still planing.

Ya probably. I have been reading alot about it, and it sounds like it is going to be great. My understanding is that some of the guys here in the forums are already beta testers and I was wondering what they thought of the game overall. Maybe even to go as far as to compare with COH.

You guys are way ahead of me. 2 of my sons are playing at lvl 17 and all that, reuped our acount also. I don't play it as much as them but I do enjoy it. Anyone heard how MXO is? been hearing that its pretty good but from here i see that most of you guys don't like it. Just wondering

Soyware programs are just as important if not even more important as a good antivirus program. Spyware is out of control anymore, you almost have to have 2 or 3 of them to get them all. I like to think it is a glitch in XP. Has happened to a lot of people I know, myself included. I don't use the manual theme tweaks, I don't think Xp likes it when you mess with them, although it's suppose to let you.

I am using one with an Nvidia chipset and it works great. Gforce-4 64mb ddr 250 mhz ramdac--BTW it is a 440mx card Ya I know---what am I doing with an MX card, it was cheap at the time. Anyways---its from MSI and it works great. Had to update it twice for HL2 though. But after that it runs HL2 just fine. Here try this out and then check out the whole site. I'm using the msn one with ad-wareSE. MSN on is pretty good so far. I think I'm gonna use both.

One thing that I have come across with spybot is that, if you are not carefull and read everything that it came up with, you may, and will, delete important windows files. I know this by experience and deleted c:/windows.dll files and found out that it was spybot that got rid of them because it thought they were a threat. You can run a OS fix with your windows xp cd in safe mode. Boot into safe mode with your cd and look for the option to fix or restore you windows files. That may work, I have used that one before.

another key factor is exhaust, not so much intake. Say, if you have 4 fans, split the difference 2 intake 2 exhaust and so on. You can suck in all the air you want, if you don't have adequate exhaust then all you do is circulate the air around the inside and you don't keep the air moving. Just my 2 cents
