I just played medic for a couple maps....I think I rather enjoy that. I've never been much of an assualt guy...I think I did well piping health around to the guys and serving in that respect. The only issue is that Duke will now beg me to wear the nurse's uniform I'm sure. NO!

Got the game for Christmas to replace UT3. So far I like sooo much better, seems it doesn't bother me when I die, . You guys using Vent or Gamecomm? get on the horn and talk to me people. I really enjoy TF2 but can't find where everyone is playing. I have one server that Penty gave me. Why are we not playing on our own?

I was literally just playing on the server when some person or another (I do my best to ignore idiots like this this I can't remember his name) said a few things to me over voice com that, at least on our CS:S server, would merit a kick + permanent ban, the saying of it itself wasn't what was so offensive, but the fact that he didn't even get a warning for it made me wonder. What, if anything, are we doing to enforce the GC clean server policy on our TF2 server? Can someone help me out with this? Sorry if I am simply bringing up an already hot topic or something I just need to vent a little Ring

We really need a good admin mod on our server. It's hard to keep those e-thugs in line when I can only ban, kick, or change the map :\

Seems like the server is either completely full or just plain empty. Need some people to join in, especially when you see a couple of us in there. Jump on in so I can snipe your face off. And bring your puppy too. I can only kill Lunk so many times before boredom sets in.

I think the Steam Friends List would be handy to get our TF2 server going more regularly. I have NONE of you in my buddy list. How about we all start putting our info in this thread so we can add eachother? That way, if someone pops on, we can send a message and start up the TF2 server, no matter what other server we're on. Eh? EH?

The server at the IP address listed in this forum is now called "Viper's TF2 Server". It's also dead empty on a Sunday evening.

Dirtwork wouldn't download properly for me. Started to download and came back and disconnected me and said I was missing the map.

I was checking the server tonight to see if anyone was on it, and I noticed the VAC secured symbol was not showing up beside the server in the listings. Could this be why we aren't getting much traffic on it?

Ok, I can now say that in the last couple weeks or so I've noticed an empty server when I've come to play. This means to me that it's time to just decide on a HQ server out there somewhere where we can all meet to play and basically understand that it's where we check for friends first. I see no point in renewing our subscription beyond the next month if we're not providing something our community NEEDS. Add to this fact that never in my TF2 time did I feel the need to use admin on anyone (due to the team factor), I would ask what the point it? Let's find a server that rocks and is full and make it (or that and a couple others) our meeting place for TF2.
