rackish April 9, 2004 Author Share rackish Member April 9, 2004 I'm really not a good business man, anyone here know how I can get come up with fair prices, say I go on Newegg, how much would I subtract off em?
Crowbar April 9, 2004 Share Crowbar Member April 9, 2004 80% eh, I dunno, they all work fine, I assume? How old are they, and do the various pieces come with drivers/manuals/cords, etc?
ConGregation April 9, 2004 Share ConGregation Member April 9, 2004 If you have all the packaging and discs, I would try to sell them 20% under retail. If not go 30% off. Of course if no one is interested at those prices, your best bet is to just ship them to me.
soul .gc April 9, 2004 Share soul .gc Member April 9, 2004 Does it come with the front control panel? This affects the price. The sound card only sells for 25-45 on Ebay. If you add in the front panel as well then it bumps up to 75-100ish. If it is the external unit then it goes up even higher. I would be interested if it has the front panel with it, be interested to open bidding on it at 70.
Playaa April 9, 2004 Share Playaa Member April 9, 2004 that would be the Audigy 2 Platinum then soul...technically the same card, but you give it a different name when you have the front panel
soul .gc April 9, 2004 Share soul .gc Member April 9, 2004 You sure Playaa? I see several with various names besides platinum with the front panel....just curious.
rackish April 9, 2004 Author Share rackish Member April 9, 2004 For the Video card all I have is the video card. For the Sound card, I have no front panel, but I do have the install CD. For the CD/DVD burner, all I have is that, it's from my old comp. I also have a p42.6ghz (I don't know how to take it off the comp), I also don't know how to ship this stuff, or who to pick to ship it to.
rackish April 9, 2004 Author Share rackish Member April 9, 2004 Ok, so the video card sells for $132. The sound card sells for $70. And newegg won't find the DVD/CD burner price. Ok, auction time!
soul .gc April 9, 2004 Share soul .gc Member April 9, 2004 I will offer up $35 for the Audigy
dwEEziL April 9, 2004 Share dwEEziL Member April 9, 2004 Well, that is a bit more than I am looking to spend for the vid card (btw, newegg has one for $129 New...I doubt you get $132 for it used). Good luck with the auction.
rackish April 9, 2004 Author Share rackish Member April 9, 2004 Not saying I want $132, just saying that's how much it is on newegg, I doubt anyone here would pay full price.
dwEEziL April 9, 2004 Share dwEEziL Member April 9, 2004 Ok...how old is it?
[Mmmm]Homer April 9, 2004 Share [Mmmm]Homer Member April 9, 2004 Give a start bidding price, not Newegg's new price and you'll do better. You have a $35 bid for the Audigy from Soul. I'd guess the 4800 would go for about $80.
dwEEziL April 9, 2004 Share dwEEziL Member April 9, 2004 I was gonna start my bidding at $70 but was curious to see how long he had owned it.
