Settlers of Catan Mare Nostrum Puerto Rico (the big kahuna of European board games) Pirates Cove Bang Balloon Cup Memoir 44 (almost brand new... willing to sell ) Ticket to ride (GREAT family board game) Scotland Yard (I like this one... not for everyone) plus all the usual American junk Risk Monopoly Masterpiece (kids love this one... ack!) Wise and Otherwise (cool party game... similar to Balderdash) etc... As you can see I like board gaming. Just got into the Settlers/Euro scene recently. Batman October 1, 2004 Share Batman Member October 1, 2004 Axis and Allies was a long time good game for me all through highschool.. That and D&D.. But latly ive been playing all my old games with my kids: Sorry, Parchese, Clue, Bonkers.. Oh and ive been playing Hero Clix with my 9 yr old, Very Very fun game.. Playaa October 1, 2004 Share Playaa Member October 1, 2004 (edited) I have recently found some VERY fun board games that I had never heard of before. Curses, Zombies, and Fluxx. All 3 VERY fun games, with Curses being the best. It is such a fun game that afterward no one has any energy because they were all laughing so hard during the game. We've had an entire room of 9 people in tears not able to talk because of all the laughter. Fluxx and Zombies are both fun just for thier uniqueness... Here's a link to Curses (not the makers website though) *edit* oh yeah, and a game called "Blokus" as well...(I knew there was a 4th). Silver-Bullet October 1, 2004 Share Silver-Bullet Member October 1, 2004 Ahh i love risk. 5 person game at my cousins...lasted 3 days...haha it was some crazy stuff. Stratego is another good game. Similar to a risk/chess kind of thing, for two players. Basically, you have different peices, and some can only get out some. Then to get back at everyone i did that one card that puts a zombie in every spot in a building. It's sort of like pictionary on movement of pieces (you know start and finish) but the idea of the game was to pull a card and then read 2 options. so I would pull a card and read this to the other team... "would you rather chew 20 times as hard as you can a cup full of thumbtacks and swallow them...or would you rather drink 3 cups of fresh sewage from a public portable bathroom" then your team has to guess which the other team will choose. The other team then debates which is worse and then settles on the person who rolls the dice. it was like a pre-fear factor board game gawd i remember ones like take a full speed nude dive on a man sized cheese grater or bite the corner of a curb and be kicked in the back of the head hahahahah man did that game make me nauseated Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
