Here's a question. I know in the states you learn Spanish as secondary. Is french an option in in Secondary as well?

Secondary languages are not required in most Public Schools in the United States (although I think they should be). At my high school, I had the option of French, Spanish, German, or Russian. I think the first 3 are commonly taught as secondary languages here, with latin also sometimes being taught in places.

I have taken about 5 years of German in high school and college and am working on a German minor.

in Missouri I believe it is required to have 1 year of a foreign language to get into a Missouri state college
