JackthePumpkinKing May 30, 2005 Share JackthePumpkinKing Member May 30, 2005 Monday afternoon on the scopeless server while there were about 10 of us on, some one by the name of [WoA]Tm*-=GC=- was pretending to be an admin. He came in all announcing he was an admin, and didn't want to hear any swearing or seeing any bad sprays, etc. I thought it odd that an admin would do that without some actual infraction, and thought it odder that I didn't recognize his name, as I play on the GC servers quite a bit. He didn't even have the GC tag until I pointed out his lack of tags, to which he replied "I'm new." He wasn't being a bad troll, picking fights or anything, but at least a few of us were very annoyed. I didn't see him on the roster on the site at all, and I checked in on the stock server, which had quite a few gc's on, and they said they'd never heard of him, and told me to log his steam ID and post it here, so I am. "[WoA]Tm* -=GC=-" STEAM_0:0:6317210 12:39 194 0 active When I reconnected to the scopeless server for another 20 min or so, he still had the GC tags, but he wasn't shouting over the radio (in a very pre-teen sounding voice) or typing in the chat that he was an admin anymore. Maybe I am easily annoyed from workin (and smelling) roofing tar all morning, but even though he calmed down a bit, I thought I'd still post this. Do with it what you will I guess. I did notice his "I'm new" message and a little later he put on a GC tag. I didn't really think anything of it. Unfortunately I only played for a few rounds til it was dinner time. bear^ May 31, 2005 Share bear^ Member May 31, 2005 if there are no admins in server, and someone i dont know asks if an admin is around or if i am 1, i say yes i say it because most of the time, if someone 'thinks' an admin is around, they will behave i've seem WoA tm play on gc quite a bit if he was upholding the gc gaming standards, i dont think being a false admin is a problem he has no power, he's just trying to keep the game running smoothly Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

campkillyorself June 1, 2005 Share campkillyorself Member June 1, 2005 A while ago I had a button binded to say "FF is ON, no TK'ing, no cursing, and no offensive sprays" If you do stuff like that, its basicly just re-showing you what the rules are (Not really pretending to be an admin) But if you wrongfully put the ".GC" on the end of your name, I can see why you could get banned for that. I just try keep The Game Running Smoothly Without Swearing and porn.. And Because of this im now clanless... and my ex-leader jumps to conclusions... without even hearing out his players and now he is dissing me in the [WoA] Forum by having a poll up saying if im a prat or not...... He Has only 1 proof of me bieng a prat and that was about 6months ago.... So Can you Guys Plz Unblock me from ur servers AND IM ONLY 14!!!!!!! If you can't disconnect and come back later if your worried about your mom seeing. My point in short, there are serval courses of action far more appropriate than posing as an admin. Guess what Tm stands for : Trouble Maker I could take my arguements demonstrating the stupidity of this kid so much further, and I will happily do so if requested. I've put up with this '14 year old' for long enough, and finally he's made me crack. I won't be playing on the servers when hes around, and I'm sure he won't be playing for much longer as the next bit of trouble he'll cause is always just around the corner. I will measure this player by his merits and the contact that I have with him. If he treats me well then I will return the same. He has screwed up, he has been publicly beaten for it. If he gives me his word that he will respect our rules than I am prepared to support his request for another chance. What he does with that chance is up to him. If he chooses to break our rules, then he will be dealt with. More importantly be may take this opportunity to prove you wrong, that he is a good kid, a good asset to our community and can live by GC rules.
