Very well put. I agree that he deserves a second chance because while he was breaking a rule, he meant for good. I don't feel that most 14 year olds would have the decency to bother to tell someone to stop spraying porn sprays...

if there are no admins in server, and someone i dont know asks if an admin is around or if i am 1, i say yes

 

i say it because most of the time, if someone 'thinks' an admin is around, they will behave

 

i've seem WoA tm play on gc quite a bit

 

if he was upholding the gc gaming standards, i dont think being a false admin is a problem

 

he has no power, he's just trying to keep the game running smoothly

Dr. Doom absolutely agrees with bears statemnt above. If u pretend to be an administarator when none are around to try to uphold the gc values of smooth and clean gameplay, in my opinion there is no problem with that. Ive done it myself. However if u are using gc tags and are not a member, i believe that it is disrespectful to those that are.

Thats b/c I didn't see any actually, but sometimes my comp gets wierd issues with other peoples sprays, and just shows a purple/black checkerboard.

 

I wasn't trying to get you kicked out of your clan or anything, but I couldn't tell if you were "upholding GC ideals" or being sarcastic, and when you faked the GC tags, I thought the second option more likely. I did say in my post though that you were civil. I wouldn't really have bothered to check things out until you put on the GC tags, and when I did, they told me to post on the forums.

 

I just think that if I were the leader of an organization whose members pay to get into, and I saw someone faking membership, even if they were trying to uphold the org's ideals, I would be angry. And I've heard plenty of times of people getting into serious trouble for faking tags, and claiming ownership/administration of clans/servers.

 

Again, I wasn't trying to get you kicked out of your clan, or banned from anywhere. Maybe I was just annoyed because I spent all day working on top of the garage, with roofing tar (which I could still smell everywhere I went) and I had played another server a bit before where two hackers (with {G TAC} tags if you're interested/ ever see them) were trolling around. I didn't think it'd go this far, I just thought that if you were trying to troll against GC, mocking their ideals or giving them a bad rep, or whatever, that they ought to be on the lookout.

 

EDIT: And if you think there is a problem requiring an admin, and there are none on the current server, there are other GC servers you can play on, or go to in order to find an admin. I've seen GC admins hop servers a couple of times to deal with trouble on other servers. And you can always tell the trouble politely to stop whatever it is that they are doing, without claiming to be an admin. Chances are, there are others in the server who will back you up if you ask the trouble to stop spamming, cussing, spraying porn, etc.

For my two cents, I dont like the thought of a "trouble maker" 14 yr old kid who is not even a member, doesnt play here 'that' often, and I believe has gotten into trouble here before, pretending to be a member, OR admin!!

 

That just Really rubs me the wrong way. I dont think Anyone should ever say they are an admin unless they are and can back it up. What happens when this kid ticks off some other t.maker kids, they get all uppity and start causing probs, and then he Cant do anything about it? With luck, we can find one somewhere, otherwise everyone on the server is kinda screwed cuz this guy got lippy in someone *ELSE'S* house.

The topic is big, and I cant quote anything directly, but I'll explain my point - he joins the Terrorist team on Italy, and almost immediantly starts annoying people. Fatty eventually gets fed up of him spamming the mic, and switches team to CT. IV (Ivona) can't swap team as the CTs are full, and eventually gets so annoyed with 'Trouble Maker', that it causes him to lash out and get banned.

 

This is an quote taking from the WoA forums, where another member has got so fed up about 'Trouble Maker' that he is forced to quit the clan:

Sorry guys but i don't have the patience to put up with the stupidty that took place during that match. It doesn't seem like much has been any different in any of the other matchs either. Its all about Tm flashing his own team, and killing his own team in the CsLs WoA match. Honestly, what type of prat does that in a clan battle, let alone whilst pubbing??

 

 

The fact that Tm is fourteen shouldn't effect his appeal in anyway either, infact, he shouldn't even be playing the game. I don't have anything against young people playing the game, because some of them I enjoy playing with and they teach me a thing or two about how to play (e.g Sgt Sanders), but they still remain mature whilst playing.

 

It is your call whether or not you give him yet another chance, but his name explains it all: TROUBLE MAKER.

Who would call themself trouble maker if they were going to be mature whilst playing the game??

 

Not only has he had a rather immature history whilst on the server, but I don't believe any of his reasons for being pretending to be admin. He says his mum was in the room and could see the swearing and porn sprays. Why not look away from the porn sprays instead of staring at them if you don't want your mum to see?

Why not practice some common sense, show some initative and change server?

Why not realise te fact that people with porn sprays are not regulars on the server, so wouldn't understand that all members have .gc on the end of their name, so you didnt actually need to put that there to bluff your way through stopping them spraying porn or swearing.

 

His reasons are weak, and could be full of lies. Heres an example of Tm lieing whilst applying to join another CS clan:

Its funny that he's been playing in WoA for 9 months, I only started it up again in Febuary...

 

 

You have good reasons to give him another chance, but all its going to lead to is trouble. Maybe I could be wrong, and if he is given another chance maybe this post could provide him with the determination to prove me wrong, and to grow up whilst playing.

 

I'll conclude by once again focusing on the main point I've been repeating all the way through this post. His name. Trouble Maker.

I say keep him banned. The WoA clan members, such as the former Dem_Apples, are all pretty much good guys who come in and play and abide by the rules, but "tm" seems to do nothing but cause chaos and annoyance, and then play the innonence game. Claiming that he didn't want his mom to see some porn sprays (minimize screen maybe? Hm?) and impersonating and admin.

 

I agree with BigBones, let him fry.

 

 

And as for the 14 year old thing, me and Antimatter have been playing CS while we were 14 and we never caused problems for anyone, its just that this one is immature.

Bigbones has posted a great post. Kindof hard to argue against that. At first when reading this thread I did feel kindof "so called" sorry for TM. However, reading BB post and Dem_Apples experience with this fella...well....I changed my mind.

This ban stays for now. Not the first issue I've had with this kid, I don't care if he's 8 years old.

 

All I read are excuses followed by excuses, and then several people accepting excuses, followed by a sickening dose of rationalizations.

 

It was bad judgement. It was intrusive. If this "little innocent boy" as we're making out to be can't accept responsibility for what he did, he won't see another round on GC turf. It's the same rule for all that do wrong.

 

Let tm speak so he can learn how to take responsibility for himself. It's this crap:

and GC can stand for Gamers Call Like in battlefield 1942

 

that keeps him banned. While the majority will embrace his story of his mother and his use of the word plz and his petition involving his age, and of course, the related yet unrelated recent eviction from his former team, I will not.

The same people will at first see me as the big, fat, cold, cruel guy. However, I think we all know what's right and wrong, and what it means to be a stand-up person and what it means to make excuses. So again, and you've heard it from me before if you've been around...I'm willing to tire your eyes and cramp my fingers just to have a little lesson in life for us.

 

Is he perm banned? That's up to him. Shodan is right, there can be a fine ending to this story. He's also right that it should be our job to bring out the good in people. I've personally seen many in this community do completely 180's.

 

The problem is, my long-winded post is probably more for the masses plugged into this thread than for tm...but if tm possibly gets it (or maybe a few of his supporters will translate for him), and comes to the understanding that I need to see, then we can all and be on our way.

I wasn't trying to put you in a position to choose me or him by saying I wouldn't play when hes around, infact, I didn't need to say it at all, I was just a bit frustrated.

 

One of the main objectives of my long winded post was to, if unbanned, provide him with the determination to prove me wrong, and make me look like a fool for saying that he will violate the rules again. However, he's banned, so we won't see if this is the case.

Second, I actuallly counted for how many months i've been in WoA after ur post and it's 4 months at that time I Did think i was around in WoA for 9months when i applied so i was wrong there.....
