Guest Censorship is Un-American September 6, 2005 Share Guest Censorship is Un-American Guests September 6, 2005 I played on your server tonight and watched Brillow, kick and ban at least 3 people. When I 1st came onto the server, he asked me to change my name. I did so without a single complaint. People were warned about swearing, I watched him kick and ban 2 players. The map changed to DUST 2 and I said that, "you'd have to be a real dummy to use an awp on this Mod." (we were playing Zombie Mod.) His response was, "be nice." (I was being nice....that's why I didn't call the awper a jackass.) I then told him to, "give it a rest." He then cited me by saying, "Who was that directed at?" I replied, "You. For censoring people to the point of ridiculousness." He then promptly kicked and banned me. If that is how you choose to run your server; with admins on a powertrip and less of a leadership role. Do so. But do not expect me or anyone that I am affiliated with (Cal) to ever play on your servers again. I will spread the word like wildfire from now on out that your servers are not fun, and oriented to the liking of the admin instead of the majority. I am a 30 year old man and do not enjoy being treated like a child. I have the screenshots and the data from the console stream saved to prove all of this. Control your admins or go the way of the rest of the dusty old servers with admins that abuse their powers. And if I ever met Brillow in person. I would thoroughly enjoy a single round with him in the ring for his gratuitous conceit and un-adult manner. He is far from having the responsibility required to be an admin on a professional server level. I have said my peace. Sincerely, Jake D. Kilzugud September 6, 2005 Share Kilzugud Member September 6, 2005 im guessing you are pretty new to our servers... seein how i dont know your name at all. assuming i am correct, i dont think you have any idea how we run our servers and think such a statement is not needed nor correct in any way. as for brillow.... brillow is by far one of the best admins we have here in our servers. as for his choices and how he runs the server when he is in there, i have full confidence that it is fair, and up to if not beyond our standards. i do appreciate you bringing this to the forums. that shows some bit of maturity... as for your remarks in "taking it to the ring" well that just went and ruined it all. his decision to kick you was a good one and i would have done the same. we are not there to be argued with about our rules. we are there to enforce them and promote fun and good gameplay. i would have kicked you myself. we would never be able to play ourselves if we had to sit there and argue with everyone if they did not agree with one of our rules. i am sorry that you feel you have been wronged, however there are better ways to bringing it to our attention then slamming him and how we run our servers. We are a group of decent people who want a family friendly server. If you control you obscene mouth, name yourself something family friendly and avoid spraying porn all over the map we'll be happy to have ya. If you don't like it you can hit the road and take everyone who would follow you along for the ride. We have Multiple Cal team members that are Admins, Lead Admins and Board Members on the GC servers. The Cal statement was...well....just overboard. I kinda know kilz so i can make that accusation. Though some people might think its not right to say that, but oh well. I'll prolly get a super long PM from him, but that's ok.
