Think about it, it was pretty much inspired by the TF series except it is interpreted as being on a grand and more serious scale, not as goofy as TF. Alot of the features that were supposed to be in TF2 ended up being in BF2. Stuff like commander mode, stationary guns, vehicles, etc. Heck, even the acronyms are similiar. Conspiracy theory?
