Preacher October 9, 2006 Share Preacher Member October 9, 2006 Well if you are used to the trackball then all of them will suck for you until you get used to it. My suggestion would be to go to www.justdeals.com and pick one of the mx5xx series mice and give them a go before investing a load of cash into something you will toss in a drawer and return to a trackball mouse. Demoner October 9, 2006 Share Demoner Member October 9, 2006 another suggestion is to go to a store where you can get a feel for different mice then buy it online
Magruter October 9, 2006 Share Magruter Member October 9, 2006 G5 for wire g7 for wireless. Just missed a solid deal, where you could have got the g7 for under $25.
TheGeek October 9, 2006 Share TheGeek Member October 9, 2006 G5 Awsome mouse. If you turn windows sensitivity really high and the mouse sensitivity really low you can get amazing accuracy in photoshop.

Metallurgic October 15, 2006 Share Metallurgic Member October 15, 2006 does anyone have the g7? any good... g5 doesn't really appeal to me much. I don't need weights Im not a big fan of wireless mice, so I can't really recommend the g7. I don't even use the weights on my g5.
dragonfly October 15, 2006 Share dragonfly Member October 15, 2006 If you dont need weights and dont NEED wireless, get the g5. it's the same thing except with a wire, and it's $40 off. Thats just over half price (55.5506% actually). You dont have to use the weights. I have 4x4.5g weights in mine, on the corners. I had more in, but wanted it a little lighter. It's a great mouse! Allanon October 15, 2006 Share Allanon Member October 15, 2006 I've had the G7 since it came out and love it. Only one complaint I have is mouse pads which have LED's on them seem to annoy it. I have a FX raider mouse pad and I have to reset the wireless connector whenever I turn it on or when I leave it alone for a while. Besides that it rocks!
