pretty good trivia question - only president that was never elected

 

 

not true.what about the vice-prez's that took over for lincoln,kennedy and the one that died in office?(can't remember his name).the sad thing is,he will be most remembered for pardoning nixon than for anything else.

they were atleast elected into vice presidency.. ford wasn't. He was appointed.

he was vice-prez at the time.

Yes, and he wasn't elected to that position either. Vice President Spiro Agnew resigned roughly a year earlier, and Ford was appointed as his replacement.

 

Also, apparently there were two assassination attempts on President Ford within three weeks of each other, and both were performed by women.
