Ewerd July 2, 2007 Share Ewerd Member July 2, 2007 Having never been to a FF before--nor having ever met anybody that I've played with over the months--I am curious as to what I should expect. Please, no replies that simply say "gaming" as I already know that.

Thief_Lord July 2, 2007 Share Thief_Lord Member July 2, 2007 ... stays at FF. Heh, you beat me to it.... But honestly you go in and you're first thought is probably like 'wow', there are a bunch of free stuff and you go to your seat that is littered with goodies and a name card. From then on you will probably be gaming or joining in on the poker games/other events. If you get bored you can jump in the pool (or Trash Can). I know a few people were console gaming every now and then; though I expect more people to do that this year with the wii and Guitar hero. Wolfsblood July 2, 2007 Share Wolfsblood Member July 2, 2007 I can tell you that the people are just as friendly in person as they are online. I was warmly welcomed by many people my first year, and with each successive year, you renew the friendships you started before, an make new ones. Take some time to hang out in the hospitality area and talk with people. That's what makes it more than a gaming weekend. THe human interaction you can get at FF. Guaranteed, you'll hear much laughter during the whole weekend.

Are you implying that the pool is disgusting? Or is there an inside joke embedded in that thought?

Dingy July 2, 2007 Share Dingy Member July 2, 2007 OK, so you *really* want to know what happens (at least some of the more memorable events): So, I'll start: 1. Who goes trash diving? 2. Who fell off the golf cart three times? 3. Name three flammable liquids used to start a fire. 4. Does wet green wood burn? 5. Insert what where? 6. Who has a three drink maximum? 7. Who was in the torpedo? 8. Who was in the bar while the rest of the team waited to start a CS match during the toruney? 9. Who went swimming? 10. Who had a Royal Flush on the Flop? 11. What do you use a leaf blower for?
