Cujo July 15, 2008 Author Share Cujo Member July 15, 2008 link works fine for me... preach, i don't recall the 3870 x2 ever being fast. right now i'm mainly interested to see the performance of a 1gb version of the 4870. i'll likely still go the x2 route as it will be more of an upgrade from my 8800gtx. that said, there really are no games i play which require more than an 8800gtx so it'll likely be a while before i upgrade to this card. Tek-Almighty July 18, 2008 Share Tek-Almighty Member July 18, 2008 Even though those benches show the 280 beating the X2 in games like Crysis, whether single or crossfire/SLI...I am always impressed out how AMD/ATI scales when it comes to upping the ante on AA and resolution.
