Just go to www.snopes.com and search for "dogs chocolate". At the bottom (since the article is about raisins and grapes being dangerous to dogs) it mentions that chocolate is dangerous to dogs. And Snopes has proven itself trustworthy to me.

It actually depends on the breed but usually vets will blanket the issue by telling you that all dogs are fatally allergic to chocolate.

 

Good rule of thumb is never let dogs eat chocolate.

 

Also, dogs and cats alike love the smell and taste of anti-freeze to the point where some dogs can smell a small puddle of it from 4 city blocks away (about a mile). It will generally shorten your pets life to a few hours.

lol don't worry i haven't done this. this idea was considered last summer up at school to our neighbors but no one ever did it just talked about it.
