CowboyFromHell`X May 25, 2003 Author Share CowboyFromHell`X Member May 25, 2003 Calvin and Hobbes IS the comic that owns all. I loved the Spaceman Spiff daydreams, they were the EXACT description of almost every male child's daydreams.
ConGregation May 25, 2003 Share ConGregation Member May 25, 2003 Watterson did so many cool things with C & H that I see copied all the time now. But the "imagination" stuff was just pure genius. Spaceman Spiff, Stupendous Man, the dinosaur and animal stuff, etc. I loved the one where Calvin ("getting a drink of water at school") races to his locker to put on his Stupendous Man outfit. Starts his Spaceman hyperbole only to realize he is locked in his locker. The ending of that strip is classic. The snowmen were great too. And the philosophical wagon rides. And the haircut!!!! LOL! (yellow magic marker ) Man... I need to finish my collection of the books.

CowboyFromHell`X May 25, 2003 Author Share CowboyFromHell`X Member May 25, 2003 I loved the one where he flushes himself in the toilet to take a bath. Also the one where he invented the words "Olly wolly polly woggy ump bump fizz"
Phat_Splizzle May 25, 2003 Share Phat_Splizzle Member May 25, 2003 I love the snow men Or the one strip where he is taking a test, and one of the questions is a "describe in your own words" questions, and his answer is "oorgle zork bimf"
CowboyFromHell`X May 25, 2003 Author Share CowboyFromHell`X Member May 25, 2003 What about the one where Suzie asks him the answer to the capital of Russia and Calvin says "Krakow! Krakow!... Two direct hits!"

Mad Bean May 29, 2003 Share Mad Bean Member May 29, 2003 I'm with Rev. Calvin and Hobbes rule. Notice the avatar(I had mine before Rev). I love the one you said Spliff, where he goes into the toilet, flushes it and walks out with a towel and tells his mom his bath is done. Just classic, all of them.
