Run Combofix on your computer. Had a user who was apparently visiting a lot of porn sites. Of course she wasn't and the typical anti-virus programs were not detecting anything. I knew though that they were not coming in on a Sunday night into the office to watch porn so I decided to just run Combofix to see what would happen. It found this and removed it. It is apparently a clickjacker and has been around for a year or more. While it is recommended that you not use it without first being guided by the support at bleepingcomputer.com, it should be safe for most anyone to run it and see if it finds anything. So a buddy of mine recommended a book called "Daemon" by Daniel Suarez. So far this book is amazing. It is none stop interesting from the start and highly recommend that anyone who's played an MMO or into anything related to IT security and hacking to read this book. Never played the first one or this new one. What is this game about and like anyway?

A couple of thoughts on this. I think we should name it Retro + something else. Such as Retro Advanced. Retro should not be so easily replaced but the name should still live on. I am against the idea of restricted any guns on CS:GO. I haven't had the time lately to jump in and play like I want but one of the reasons I stop playing Source is because of the restrictions of auto snipers and awp. I think if there is a demand to restrict those guns that we turn the old Retro Source server into a scopeless on top of the normal everything server.

Then take my steps above. I think that will narrow down the problem.

Aaaaah. Is your Windows 32-bit or 64-bit? 32-bit Windows can only see 4GB max and that includes what your video card has. This could be your problem.

Remove the other sticks of RAM and try just that one new stick. Removing the other RAM will determine if the RAM is bad or if it doesn't like playing with others. Try different slots too and make sure that you have your BIOS set to auto detect RAM voltage. There is a good possibility the the 2x 2GB sticks use different voltage than the new stick and they cannot work together.

A lot of those subtle things don't seem dynamic, but rather static. Like if the sign swinging happens at that point and not again at a different point. Just seems like that for every static event that occurs in the game, they add finer points of detail to it so it looks prettier. Plus, something tells me that the girl is going to be "invisible" in the game. Enemy AI can only see you and not her. Probably so but I am not too worried about it. It's the little things that make a game like that potentially great. I am all about the post apocalyptic games and stories so I look forward to this.

It doesn't seem to be posted anywhere so I have no idea what it is. My server browser keeps no history or anything.

So I played for the first time last night. I figured we will have our own server as soon as this goes live. It took some coaxing to get people to leave 1.6 and go over to source. These are my thoughts so far. M4: No silencer mode USP: No Silencer mode Molotovs: First time I died while burning I was like WTH!!??! Every friggin automatic gun sounds the same I am still trying to master the difference between CT and T skins because they both look alike from a distance As an addition to above: Friendly Fire will be a biotch in the beginning. Barrels and other items do not move when shot Autosnipers and Aug / Commando are the most accurate guns in the game AWP: Seems to be a delay between the time you fire and the gun actually shoots. Will require some relearning

Maybe 8 to 10 years ago. ATI drivers are pretty good now. I would think that your problem is that you are running two different types of video cards at the same time or some other issue. Maybe the video card is over heating. How is the ventilation in your case? Is there good airflow? Maybe your PSU isn't putting out enough power. There are a number of things it could be. It could even be drivers.

I disagree. The performance increase from the 6xxx cards to the 7xxx is significant. I would actually recommend an 850 watt psu minimum and a newer Nvidia card if you want performance that will last you a while. I honestly would consider an AMD cpu setup to offset cost if that is a concern. Ultimately up to you.
