I might re-install CS for that.

I remember that. I also remember playing with you on a map.... um.. it was an AS map that had a couple of stationary turrets and an open field(well actually kind of a forest...!!!! I think it was AS_forest!) you had to get across... or you could go the back way across a bridge and it had a huge waterfall. CT spawned in a little stream. Anyway... that is where I remember remembering you for the first time. Some good times. It's amazing when you think about it, but its cool that this community has survived so long that people actually come back and remenisce. Probably the map I had the most fun on was de_bank. An AWFUL map. But some AWESOME times!!

I want to record some recorded TV shows onto DVD to play in our car DVD player. I figured that would be no problem to find something that would do this. But alas, I was wrong again. I have Nero OEM that came with some drive but it didn't want to work with the files I have (mpeg). Going to drive to FL in Jan and wanted to get the kids a bunch of shows around to make the trip a bit more bearable. Any software that does this well and cheaply (i.e. free)?

hey shadowdog. Times change. This is NOT the same place it used to be and sometimes I long for it to be. While GC is a small group, it will never be as small or as 'tight knit' as it use to be. Guys that use to play a lot are hardly on. Or they are on 'another' server. But be that as it may, although this is a different place, it's better in some respects. It is never hard to get some gaming action and the community is so large now that we have guys that can do really cool stuff. Someday, someone is going to get on here and talk about the good ol' days that are happening right now.

I am thankful for politically correct watchdogs. But just for today since its thanksgiving

My father in law wants me to replace the motherboard on his office computer. He has a AMD Athlon XP 2400+ What socket do i get? Hard for me to keep all those numbers and letters straigh.

Is the city management a little more detailed now? I want it to be a little more like CIV4... Maybe not to that degree but with more intuitive options. I guess if the information was displayed in a way that makes actual sense it would be great. Basically you had three options and those were not 'fine tunable' (taxes) (this is rome, not the new one).

kayak.com is a good place to find airline tickets. They include 'budget' carriers.

I am just not too excited about this one... don't know why. I love that type of game. I have only played Rome:total war but loved it. Maybe if I read the articles...

Here is what I do. Enable IE's website rating system and set it on highest. Since no one registers with the safety rating your browser is basically disabled. Then go to the websites you want to allow and allow the website 'everytime'. Works for me.

Maybe not the most LOL funniest commercial but this one just makes me laugh no matter how many times I see it.
