  1. I'm down for vanilla, prefer chocolate but vanilla will do.
  2. With all the recent applications and hiring of admins in the server, can we get a updated list of them all? Or is there a topic with that list already? Just thought it be good to know and the very least, congratulate them!
  3. If soundboard was allow again, he be back here in jiffy.
  4. I would imagine that wasn't use to accommodate low graphic users. Looks great though, would like to see the rest of the map leading to it.
  5. Paro I recall making a post about leaving. He moved on to something else Matt is currently in military service And Yuri still plays L4D from time to time but left due to personal reasons. Others I haven't heard why.
  6. A direct points nerf isn't going to solve the problem much as you think it would. It would still be the most effective damage and biggest points reward. The problem we can all obviously agree on is that incapped survivors are easy target and pounces. Nothing else should be of a factor, let it be teamwork or playstyle.
  7. Jackie's idea is an idea I wouldn't mind being implemented. I'm not defending hunters to the end of the earth against nerfs but rather I want to break the misconception some of our players have around here, or the very least open their mind a little. I rather have a way to reduce the hunters instead of a direct number nerf to a class.
  8. Regulars value the system point far too much rather then the full potential of a class brings to the table. A hunter can only stop a person in it's track, when a charger can bring a teammate 50 feet away from his teammates! Just think about the difference of mechanic and see how much more value a charger can be or other classes for that matter. Every class completes its objective with the correct rewards and is only because we assign points to each action that we forsaken the original aspect. And the argument with a incapped survivor being too easy for hunter pounces? Hell, every class can just land damage/disruption just as quick with rocket launching.
  9. I heard your argument from the beginning in the server Turbo and it merits a wrongful change. Your reasoning was clearly out of your annoyance and directed at certain players. And now we're talking about how a certain style should affect the hunter class as a whole? Are we punishing players for playing a certain way? Because they don't spawn as other class or they waste just too much time as one? It should be a problem if the class itself needs balance, not because a couple players hold on to the hunter class and trying to make best use of the situation given how weak they are.
  10. I don't know how to feel seeing all this
  11. Yeh but lately its finding a new guy and pouncing him over and over. Like many people have said before a team is as good as the worst players, with chargers and spitters you can spawn block, but hunters come from the sky. Not much different from a rocket jump that all classes can take advantage of.
  12. These arguments about the hunter is completely lackluster into what the actual problems are. These same arguments can be use for all other classes. Off the top of my head, I can say there are too many people playing chargers in The Sacrifice campaign. Too many spitters in EVERY map of No Mercy. Too many chargers in EVERY map of The Parish...too many spitters in the finale of Dead Center. Is just what works best and who it works best for. Reducing the points from hunter pounce won't reduce the number of players spawning them AT ALL. Hell, it might have the opposite effect since we will have to pounce even more to get what we normally do. Hunter class is a one hit wonder...if it misses its pounce, it WILL DIE INSTANTLY without interrupting or hurting the survivors at all. At least the jockey has (noticeably) faster recovery time from shove, higher hp and smaller hitbox than the hunter. Other classes will provide safer interruptions. Again I will repeat myself, hunters are not the easiest point farming class. Imagine how often and how many times survivors get boom with the most guarantee chances. Just being near a small group will cover 1 - 3 people. And you die instantly without waiting like a hunter, positioning, waiting for the right requirements and wasting potential time. You guys are severely underestimating what other classes do, how often they are spawn than the hunter and how much points they bring.
  13. Welp, that hunter nerf came in and about pretty fast
  14. Don't need renewal to continue playing on this server. Just continue to play as you see fit. I been taking a break from time to time. Is unfortunate but that's just how all games roll. Old players will leave over time and new players take over. New players form their own community and we more changes in the server.
  15. Place your fist on the screen please because I love that idea. Hunter being useless is one of the reason in Swamp Fever on top of many worst reasons.
  16. I know is just a rant but I would not like to see any changes being done here. There's a huge difference between the hunter the rest of the classes. For one, hunter design is and only a DAMAGE class. They offer NOTHING else besides landing fast damage upon the survivors. Every other class provide important utilities such as boomer blind, charger pushing, smoker pulling, jockey control and spitter for both damage/buying time. By reducing the points on high pounces, one of the most difficult feats to pull, they have to have the points to make it worthwhile. Other classes have just as easy to farm points like the hunter. We just don't see it that way mainly because when a hunter pounces, we feel the immediate effect of it more so then you say a boomer getting 4 survivors. Hell, even going in as a charger and just meleeing unsuspecting survivor can take out about 30 hp or more. Let's not forget map designs that are better suited for certain classes to excel at. I can say too many spitters at the beginning of No Mercy map 3.
  17. I guess Grimace took the matter to his own hands and killed you as a spitter because you were holding on to the spawn.
  18. Happen to me 3 times today. Twice in one row and then one more after like 30 mins. All the same way too. About to spawn and then crash to desktop
  19. Happen to me more than twice on both infected and survivor side. Don't remember how it happen but I would be playing normally and then bam, went straight back to my desktop.
  20. You guys need me? I will straighten them up with a baton.
  21. Is that why I'm having trouble sleeping?
  22. That idea might be overkill if it was even possible to spawn such a thing correctly. Spawning cars in a tight hallway of No Mercy map 3 in warehouse...GG!
