Linch stacked all map, we lost 10 in a row, he did nothing about it

 

As we began to get beat down, i would point out between rounds how badly our team would get wasted and laff about it

after the first 5 loses, i began to call for some team evenage

 

he said "stop whining"

 

i said "stop stacking" "is that 2 much to ask?"

seriously tho... stackage makes the game not fun. thats the point. solve that and it solves everything else.

Funny, I told the folks in the server I now have to wait for more whining on the boards.

 

For 2 maps all you did was complain. Complaining about the getting killed, missing, etc. After Terrorist owning CT's 5 rounds + in a row, you complain about the teams. I looked at the teams and I did not see stackage, only poor team play. You repeated the stackage claim once you lost 2 rounds in a row in Office. I looked at the teams (even btw), and I looked at the players... You may want to look up what stacked means, because I did not see stacked players. Try leading your team, and spend less time complaining.

 

Maybe another admin could post the logs for the 2 maps (bears comments, and my comments)

 

Here's a screen shot on office.. I had switched to CT 2 rounds after you left. When I look at the players,not the records, I see about the same skill level). I wish I screen shotted the previous map, because the teams were not a like at all.

 

 

Many times I have switched to another team for balance, but if a player just whines a lot.. I do not usually give them time of day. Lets call it the broken record synrome.

uhhhhhh, bear, arent you notorious for using the spec bug to get more money for your precious awp's? I could care less, because I like the challenge, but I have seen you do that plenty of times, and even be warned on more than 1 occasion about it. Just because your team was getting owned, doesnt mean the teams were stacked. Linch is correct in looking at the players on each team, not just the team score. I have been on a team with 4 CsLs before, and we would get wrecked 10-0, but does that mean teams were stacked?

1) lose your 10, if you can't, exit. mp_winlimit = 10 for this reason. You want it at 5 or something?

 

2) there should be no punishment for leading a team to victory, like people expecting the top guy or two to switch. That's not fun either.

 

Don't tell me you haven't shut another team out. Don't even try to say that you haven't. I love skunking teams.

Bear, you know our admins work hard. I think you went too far to attempt to go off publically. A PM would have done nice. Calling Linch out in public like this, well, I gotta thank him for being one of our admins.

 

I'm not sure what your goal was here, but if it was to put Linch under the spotlight in a negative fashion, it didn't work.

From what I read, Linch was being quite nice to him before he started with the attitude. Sometimes stacking is a real issue, but not this time it seems, those numbers looked even to me. Linch made the right call.

When you see multiple players on a team that have bad scores such as 1-7 or 2-7 its almost a dead give away its stacked.

 

Two of the CTs are 0-1, which leads me to believe other players left becuase they probably felt the teams were stacked.

 

Theres only two Ts with a negative ratio wheres on the CTs theres only three with positive ratios. One being Linch, which shouldn't count becuase he was on the Ts just before this screen shot was taken.

 

On top of the skill difference the map is a T map which doesn't help anything.

 

So all-in-all, i'd say they are pretty stacked just from that screen shot.

It shouldnt go to 10-0, did we not make a blow out rule for a reason?

 

I know we should back up us the admins but if its going 10-0 and so on I think there should of been some switching way before this, or atleast a map change at the skunk rule that we talk about. Or do we only enforce it when were on the loosing team.

I also agree with linch's comments. I will add that I would have changed the map if it hit 8 - 0 regardless of which team I was on after I posted a warning at 7 - 0.

eh, its late, so heres my .02. I am usually the First one on a new map, i pic my fav side, usually T, sometimes ct. and play. If the teams are say 10 and 10, and the score is 8-0, or the like, there is a stacking issue going on, not numbers, but maybe a skill or teamwork issue. If any good player is on a team full of rambos, its going to wreck his gameplay, some teams are just unleadable, some poeple are going to go long A every round regardless of what anyone says. IDK, I try to keep the game even, if im doing good on the winning team, I like to go the the loosing team and try to even the score up a bit, its more of a challange to me.

 

And as to the whole spec bug thing, whys it a bannable deal? I see nothing wrong with it, its a part of the game that gives a player a advantage, whats next, running with your knife out is going to be bannable? Think of stacking as a positive. When it happens, you should watch the really good players. Practice, practice, what they do and it'll improve your skills. It may be a bummer but its a good learning experience.

Just to clear up what I believe is a misconception to the "Spec Bug". It does NOT add money to your total. It Will reset it to the initial map-start amount. Before it was an outlawed issue, I used it when on the unstacked-getting-spanked team. When you have $12 left, going to spec and returning will put you back to $802. If you have 4300 and want a little more "for that precious Awp", you will come back with $802, not $5102.

 

In other words, when your team is totally trounced repeatedly, you can get your choice of a deagle OR a kit and clip using the bug. Though its obviously an "exploit", its not exactly an unbalancer lol.

We need to decide if that's an exploit or not. If I get killed from there, I just get aggrivated cause I was so surprised. However, don't think you go off the map to get there, do you? I can't have some admins calling it an exploit and others not.

I don't think it is an exploit. You get there by jumping on boxes and you can get there without any help. I have not punished for that one.

Hey... stop talking about a exploit. This is my welcome back admin post,

 

VooDooPC, keep in mind of the players on each team. Both team had a few regulars that I found play at the same level. So lets say if dv-8, adsumn(sp?), and unnamed1 were on Terr, im sure their record would be better because of teamplay. I know that happens for me, my score almost always depends on my team because I work with the team, not baiting, watching the radar, communicating. I only saw 2 reallly skilled players on the server, bear and kage. Both of which had good records on both maps if I recall correctly. (not to take anything away from another player..honest) <3

 

Just on another note, I might of played CS 5 times in the span on 6 months because of WoW, but as of last week I have been playing a fair amount. I'm really impressed with the new regulars, and the new admins that have joined the community.
