mookie January 23, 2006 Share mookie GC Alumni January 23, 2006 Truly, the cheap Logitech mice are an absolute no-brainer. For $10-$15 I have a mouse that's given me absolutely no problems in almost 3 years now.

strangefamous January 23, 2006 Share strangefamous Member January 23, 2006 all my mouse feet on my mx1000 fell off. Probably because i've been cleaning it with pledge for the last year. The girlfriend just bought me a replacement mx1000 though. I love this mouse.
wayfarer January 23, 2006 Share wayfarer Member January 23, 2006 Just to let you know I picked up a Razer copperhead. The precision on this mouse is awsome. Unfortunately Their support is abysmal to say the least. My right-click tends to stick. I have been emailing them for 2 weeks & getting half responses and dodges. No phone support. No address. I will be buying a logitech shortly. And I will never buy a Razer again.

It is a great mouse once you get past that though.

The right button physically holds down in the depressed position, and will not release. The mouse is defective.

wayfarer January 23, 2006 Share wayfarer Member January 23, 2006 If you look here, you'll see it comes with two rechargeable batteries. Two Fast-Swap Ultra-Light Li-ion Packs Recharging doesn´t have to mean pausing the action. . In the default gaming power mode, the battery life will last up to two and a half days for average game play. P.S. That's the Canadian Tigerdirect, so disregard the price. Cujo January 23, 2006 Share Cujo Member January 23, 2006 wow it's a buck cheaper at tiger than cc. anyway, it's obviously a level ahead of the mx1000 as it's newer and faster. oh and the driver overclocks the usb port.
strangefamous January 23, 2006 Share strangefamous Member January 23, 2006 My table I use my mouse on gets dirty then my mouse gets dirty. Pledge is the best for slickness. But yeah, the batteries don't come out of the mx1000, it just recharges in the cradle when i'm not using it. So far they tend to last about a 6 days. I don't notice any lag. I know there are mice with a higher dpi and overclock the usb and probably floss for you but I'm completely happy with the 1000. It fits my hand nicely, I love all the extra buttons and it seems to be pretty accurate.

TheGeek January 24, 2006 Author Share TheGeek Member January 24, 2006 You see i cant decide between the MX518 and the G5.......... G5 only has one back button And the Mx518 doesnt look that cool compared to the G5, i mean come on, the G5 looks SWEET.
TheGeek January 24, 2006 Author Share TheGeek Member January 24, 2006 I'm going with the G5 mouse. I read a lot of reviews and i found that the MX518 is a "okay" gaming mouse and the G5 is "the best mouse we have ever tested". So thanks for showing me the G5.
