To me its a toss up between BF2 and 2142, they are both great games.. But there is something about a big Mech coming down the road twards you that is so dang cool, I love it... But I grew up playing/reading any cyborg or mechwarrior game/book I could get my hands on.. So yeah I'd play, I just bought the booster pack to.. I still play 1942 sometimes to get a Berlin fix.. I tried the 2142 demo, and (what also happened to me in BF2) the game kept unbinding my walk backwards key when I binded my forwards key. Played around with it for about 15 minutes, default controls were a chore to get use to and it was really laggy, and I just gave up on it. Still... gotta love those old 1942 days.
