dragonfly July 20, 2008 Share dragonfly Member July 20, 2008 (edited) Well, I have to say anything with "dark" in it is obviously amazing I give it 5/5. I loved it. It was much darker than Batman Begins, but that ended up being a good thing. The joker made the movie too. I liked their portrayal of him MUCH better in this than the old movies (duh). Again, 5 / 5 darkarchons. Edited July 20, 2008 by DarkArchon

YoMamma July 21, 2008 Share YoMamma Member July 21, 2008 4/4 stars. THE BEST SUPERHERO MOVIE TO DATE The Joker really did make this movie awesome. I just wish he didn't die in real life. He did a heck of a job in this film.

stutters August 3, 2008 Share stutters GC Alumni August 3, 2008 the first and second had different plots; the first had more going on, but the second was just as intense. and seeing it in IMAX? totally worth it. 5/5.
Clueless August 4, 2008 Share Clueless GC Alumni August 4, 2008 I am going to see it in IMAX later this week...can't wait, should be awesome.
Playaa August 4, 2008 Share Playaa Member August 4, 2008 Saw it this weekend in IMAX. Here's my review: meh. If it wasn't for Heath Ledger's creepy performance this movie would be a 1-watch, never care again type of movie. I have heard countless people say this is one of the best movies they've ever seen. Those people are idiots. It was cliche, it was generic, it had explosions and fisticuffs but not much more (apart from the aforementioned Ledger). As far as entertaining me for a few hours (at least half an hour too long though) I would give it 3.5 out of 5 stars. Not bad but not really great. As far as being a "great movie", I don't see myself ever caring if I see it again.
dwEEziL August 4, 2008 Share dwEEziL Member August 4, 2008 So, since you called people idiots because they said the movie was great but you disagreed, is it ok to call you and idiot because you think the movie is "meh"?

stutters August 4, 2008 Share stutters GC Alumni August 4, 2008 hey idiot, you're an idiot. take care idiot, - another 5/5 idiot ps, you're more emotional than my girlfriend. he didn't like it because that superhero didn't have imaginary powers, a cool wand, or an official board game. ZING!
YoMamma August 5, 2008 Share YoMamma Member August 5, 2008 he didn't like it because that superhero didn't have imaginary powers, a cool wand, or an official board game. ZING! But Playaa loves Sci-Fi, so Batman needs to fly through space and fight his way past black holes, sun flares, ufos, black matter, and the forces of zero gravity. Xterminator August 6, 2008 Share Xterminator Member August 6, 2008 I liked it....just hated how Christian Bale talked when he was Batman...I know he's tryin to disguise his voice, but he coulda done a better job.
dragonfly August 8, 2008 Author Share dragonfly Member August 8, 2008 lol @ playaa I'd have given it a 6/5 but that woulda made me look like an idiot. That and it wouldnt have made sense. I want to see it again. Unfortunately there's no IMAX here in the middle of nowhere *cries*
Clueless August 9, 2008 Share Clueless GC Alumni August 9, 2008 Finally saw it tonight, awesome flick...The Joker definitely WAS the movie. Didn't get to see it in IMAX since for some STUPID reason, the IMAX theater here was only showing it 35mm...and ONLY the Dark Knight...all the other movies were in IMAX...makes no sense that the biggest box office money maker possibly ever before it's said and done wouldn't be in the best available format? Oh well....great movie either way.
