Jane, while team speak and Ventrilo will increase the performance load, the benefits usually outweigh this. Just make sure you dont use Roger Wilco...horrible...horrible program. Teamspeak is great, you can have lotsa people. multiple rooms and when you talk it's clear and not distorted.
