  1. This thread def needs more Apollo Creed.
  2. I'm not even sure what to feel anymoar. Your avatar is me now.
  3. I think he may have had a (very) small hand in the process of awarding these consoles. Because apparently he does work for XBL, owns an Xbox, and has a GT without telling anyone.

    Yo Yo Yo

Timeout, you're on Live?? Post your GT up in the forums! Also, Fatty What these guys said about the games, LFD2, CS:GO, Minecraft. A few folks around here play Diablo 3 fairly regularly as well. I used to be one of them until I lost access to a usable form of high speed internets for my gaming computer. Hopefully to be restored in a month.
  5. I, for one, am looking forward to it. I loved every one of the first trilogy, especially ME3. Once the winter rush of games subsides, I'm going back for my third playthrough of ME3, first run through the DLC!
  6. I'm ready to dive back in, but am also waiting for the new bukkit. Looking forward to potentially FINISHING a homestead project for once.
  7. I know I'm not in the GC FF league, but I have felt the need all day to shout this out wherever I can: DOUG MARTIN!!!1!!!!!1!!111!! That is all.
  8. Referring back to the game itself: It's done. Halo 4 has already shipped, and it probably went gold over a month ago. That executive producer's main job of working to ensure a good product is finished. Yes, there is more stuff they will be doing for MP and such, but the heavy lifting is done. If she wants to focus attention on affecting the multiplayer experience, go for it. Side note: if "executive producer" in gaming means the same thing as "executive producer" in the movie business, then it's possible she contributed very little to the actual development of the game. Ever wonder why movies have one or two producers and a hundred "executive producers"? The cousin of the director could suggest they change the color of the hero's outfit, contribute nothing else to the project, and get awarded with an executive producer credit. Obviously this isn't always the case, but it often is something minor that can turn into that credit.
  9. Dropping in to say I really doubt the Surface Pro will be as expensive as some are thinking at the moment. I wouldn't be surprised by $899-$999. Yeah, it's not a lot less but it is less. I'm planning on getting one - it can replace 95% of the functionality of my laptop while being a fraction of the size. The 5% is the occasional light gaming - I'm not sure that Surface will be able to match this for gaming, even though it isn't a beast by any stretch (Core i7, GTS 425M). Also, for those that are throwing the iPad thing around: Surface Pro is NOT a competitor to iPad, and I will also say Surface RT offers more capability for productivity than iPad at a similar cost. I DO wish that the $499 Surface RT came with the touch cover keyboard, seeing as how they are marketing it as a package.
  10. Do you like to shoot things? Do you like to shoot midgets and/or mutant creatures? Do you like to shoot midgets and/or mutant creatures in the face with a shotgun that fires 3 cartridges of explosive/fire/shock/acidic hellfire at one time? If the answer is "YES", then this game is definitely for you. Bazillions of awesome, procedurally generated random weapons. Pistols that, when reloaded, are thrown and explode like grenades, with a fresh one materializing in your hand. Revolvers, SMGs, shotguns, assault rifles, sniper rifles, modded grenades that, when thrown, can spawn 10 little grenades to carpet bomb an area. Oh, and 4 (soon to be 5) different classes with special abilities and branching skill trees full of awesome upgrades. ... Plus all that other stuff Anonymo said. Does that answer your question?
  11. RECRUDESCENCE!! BRING IT BACK!
  12. The glimpse into the mind of the Peklz is just as frightening as I feared it would be...
  13. As already stated, humor is spot on and permeates the experience. Shooting and looting is just as awesome as it was before. I also think the FOV thing has helped A LOT from BL1. I used to get nauseous after a while of playing it and I'm having zero problems with the new one. I'm only level 8, but it's been great so far. I haven't played any co-op yet, so hoping to try that out soon. It looks like getting a party together or joining one already in progress seems dead simple though. Similar look to main menu of Diablo III.
  14. I'm officially AFK (Admiring FlitterKill) You rock.
  15. I think I'm leaning towards keeping what we have. The map isn't too huge yet, imo, plus there were quite a few people with some big projects (DF and amertrash come to mind). If the consensus is new map + add in individual stuff, then I'm fine without my stuff being added in. *edit I just logged back in for the first time in many months, and was happy to see my place was as I left it. There were, however, many signs posted throughout my house from someone who had stumbled upon it. Judging by the nether portal that was in the middle of the house, I'm guessing someone may have portaled themselves there by chance. I also forgot about my sweet enchanted tools. I would like to keep this map if possible.

    Griefing

Keep us posted on a potential new server. I've been thinking about hopping back into this game a little and had kind of hit a wall on my house project.
  17. My DH doesn't have a lot of survivability in late Act II either, and I'm guessing the "pros" here will tell you your gear isn't good enough let. LOTS of All Resist and LOTS of vitality are required to be able to take a few hits without dying. The trick is not killing your DPS at the same time. I have not purchased any equipment for my DH, save for one chest piece, because I don't have the gold for it. The really good stuff is all 10mil+ on the AH. I have not played a Wizard myself, but it is my understanding that they have armor boosting abilities as well as damage reduction abilities, which I'm guessing help tremendously.
  18. Bump again, would still like to sell this thing. Price dropped as well. $225 shipped.
  19. I was hoping you'd buy mine so I could take advantage of that offer Let me know if you change your mind - my 570 would be about half the price of the 670.
  20. Mine is still available for the right price: http://gamrs.co/forums/index.php?/topic/41467-fs-evga-gtx-570-superclocked-w-backplate/ I'm willing to go lower than what I have posted in that thread, PM me with an offer and we'll talk.
  21. The 911 is one of the best pure sports cars out there. There really is nothing quite like one. Well done, sir.
  22. I approve of the there-I-fixed-it-ness of the above photograph.
